MACBETH, by William Shakespeare Part 1

Chaos ensues when the Scottish King, King Duncan, is murdered by one of his most trusted Soldiers in a bid for power. The lust for power is triggered by a prophecy from the three Weird Sisters, witches who tell Macbeth that he will be king, and tell Banquo that his descendants will be kings. Believing the prophecy, Macbeth shares the good news with his wife, who urges him to take matters into his own hands and not wait for the throne to be his, but to kill the king and gain the throne immediately. Macbeth finally agrees to the deed, and once it is done, a rebellion ensues and Macbeth is ultimately defeated by King Duncan's loyal son, Malcolm, and soldiers from England. Lady Macbeth commits suicide.
