MAYBE TMI but it's ok because I'm neuro-divergent and overshare - I had a partner who looked just like Rosie who died when we were young so, sorry for being creepy, but I kind of live vicariously through you two and it's very healing but also bittersweet 🤷♀It's so nice watching your family thrive and grow.

What is going on with better help? How can therapists be on demand for messages like that with all their clients? it sounds like they have no boundaries with contact, and are just always available.
They definitely have boundaries. For example I know my sister's better help therapist told her specific dates she would be off around Xmas.

yoooo, just fyi, betterhelp recently got a slight slap on the wrist for selling user info (like the questionnaire they promised "would stay confidential" etc)
intercostal muscle strain is NO JOKE it’s literally the same pain as broken ribs

Why do you call the baby your baby? And not our baby? It was the same when Rosie was pregnant, you kept calling Ziggy her baby, not our baby. It's weird
It really isn’t that “weird” unless you make it so. This is Rose’s pregnancy, hence this being her baby… the same way Ziggy was Rosie’s pregnancy and therefore her baby. I imagine being the birthing mother must feel somewhat different to being the non-birthing mother, however both children are obviously still equally both of theirs despite this. I don’t see the issue?
You think it's weird? Ok being 100% genuine here, how would you feel if I (Rosie) referred to Rose's miscarriage as "my miscarriage" or "our miscarriage"? It's her baby as it's her egg and her uterus and her pregnancy. Of course the child is both of ours, but it is also her baby. Both can be true at the same time.
Well, they've talked about how building a bond with a child as the non-birthing mother is a different experience than as the birth mother. If you see Rose now with Ziggy there's no question that she's his mum and he's fully both of their son, but I can kind of see how for the non-birth parent (with no genetic link to the child, which makes it different from a biological father) it feels a little different during pregnancy. I don't think it's how I would say it myself but I also don't think there's anything sinister there, just their way of expressing how they feel at this stage of pregnancy.
@@RoseAndRosie but that’s the whole point, it’s neither mine or her’s. I think people in same sex marriages are every bit equal as hetro marriages. And the miscarriage would also be a loss for both of you (I would assume). It’s how we train our minds from the beginning to be one family unit. It’s not like I’ll love your baby and you’ll love my baby, it’s more like we will have two kids together, our kids. And it starts from the pregnancy. Sharing genes don’t make mothers, love does.
I have no doubt that you girls are and will continue to be great mothers. :) Just be careful of the language as it creates a divide, which might result into unequal treatment of kids down the road. And it would be incredibly sad and heartbreaking if either one of you or your sweet little kids get this thought in their heads (about being not her kid)
@@wdk7432of course the miscarriage was a loss for both of us, but we both didn't physically go through it. It's absolute insanity to claim that it's 'weird' that Rose refers to her pregnancy as her pregnancy. I don't appreciate being told to be careful or watch my language. This is our family and we will do whatever works best for us. If you don't like it you don't have to watch.
