Thanks Nick. It was great to be a part of your train for some time. A good few minutes of footage of the back of me around Cutty Sark. Blue and red Stainland Lions vest.
Your enthusiasm and love of running throughout the entire race is infectious. Most people celebrate at the end but you treat the whole race like a victory lap, amazing!
You went from pacing one Anya to an entire 02:45 cohort haha so happy for all those who could achieve their dreams. Still a couple more years until I dare tackle the marathon distance, but I will give it my all. In the meantime, gotta build that base and work on my 10k and half marathon times
My man you did not exaggerate on this one: running London was beyond amazing! Thanks so much for all the positivity, love watching all the videos! Sometime soon Ill board the 2:45 train lets goooooooo
Nick - thank you for such a great video! I ran my first Marathon yesterday in 3:39 (quicker than expected) and this brought back so many memories from the course on the day.
Unreal at the huge pack running at that speed. And that young runner from last year left you hanging 😂. Great video! You always have the best London race blog.
This video is the best race video I have ever seen. You are amazing what you are doing. You look in fantastic shape also. Wish I knew you were pacing for 2.45. I had you in my sights up to 18 miles!
Fantastic vlog Nick of an amaxing day! The atmosphere is insane and Tower Bridge gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. I was out there for my 9th London, i absolutely love it!!
Just ran my first marathon in Brazil. It was the worst experience of my life, so tough and mentally challenging and I told myself I never want to run a marathon again. But this video makes me wanna do it. Thanks mate.
Great video Nick - felt surreal re-living the race, the day after whilst nursing my battered legs on the sofa. Hope to join one of your pace groups some time. Great work 👏
That was like a 42.2km victory lap Nick 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 love it, getting the crowd going wild. I'm from the UK originally, one of these years I'm going to get to race London and hopefully the GNR.... bucket list items.
Amazing! London marathon atmosphere is something else! When you run a 2:45 marathon does it feel tough at all or just a steady pace? Wondering how much 25 mins makes a difference from your PB to this
Awesome work ethic and passion for the sport. Love the video, great way to show the world the heart of London Marathon and racing!. Incredible day, I picked up some tips from you and ran a PB 3.24.48(first marathon) ! Lets go ! 🤙
Ran my first marathon at London marathon in 4:14! Was such an experience. Fully got the bug now so next goal is sub 4hr and so on! Will I ever make it to 2:45? Maybe not but your videos inspire me!

What camera are you wearing on your hat? I'm thinking of recording a few races before I get older and slower! Well done for making a 2:45 marathon look easy
Saw your hat about mile 11 & tried to catch up but aiming for 2.50 & didn't want to blow up, so watched you disappear. Made it on the video though! Love your work mate 👍💪
Nick I’m the dude in the bright yellow hat and white vest. You got me a 7 minute PB (2.42 from 2.49) - thanks for amazing pacing and vibes!!!

Bossed it 🙌🔥

Insane amount of people running at this pace in a Marathon. Hats off to them.
Mental isn’t it. All of them would probs be classed as ‘elite’ runners too
@ocooperr no where near being classed as elite. Need to be running below 2:10 to even be considered as elite

Hello from Brazil. Congratulations for your race and for this video. Amazing! One question: why do some runners use bib numbers in their backs?
Glad you loved it! Those runners are championship entry runners 🙌🏻
26.2 subscribers! 😄 How apt for this video
Haha well spotted! 👏🏻 satisfying!
This shows how much you can enjoy a run if you slow the pace down!
That feller who passed you early in the race with the 3:49 mile pb was John Mayock, who competed at 3 Olympic Games.
With that time I’m not surprised. Absolute beast 🔥 great to see him on route!
So much energy. This is how to enjoy a Race. I love it!

The crowds in New York are great too, but London is best 💪 its just the best day of the year. 😊
Can’t wait to run New York and bring it to you later this year 🇺🇸 🎉 I’ve heard good things!!
@justalilbester It's amazing, but watch out for those hills! 🙁
How does everyone running this pace fuel with gels, electrolytes etc? Noticed no one seems to have running vests
A lot of marathon specific shorts have elasticated pockets.
2:45 Pack Runners look soooooo easy than my 2:30 half
Definitely me not shouting “Go on Nick” 4 times at 26:36 😂
Haha legend!! 🙌🏻

Strength in depth these days is insane. Glad I could showcase it in this video
How do people get places in the first place? Desperate to run on 2025 but I’d target sub 4 hourd
Did i see a little boy at 5:18?
So that's how you run a 2:45 while partying in the streets of London :)
You got some of your footage mixed up. The underpass @6:30 comes just after 5 miles, but the footage before it is at 10k.
