The EASIEST way to solo 20 waves for the hidden achievement - Guts and Blackpowder

- DISCLAIMER #4 NO LONGER APPLIES AS OF V0.10.10, YOU CAN NO LONGER USE FORCEMAP AND FOGGY FIELDS WILL NOT WORK. Also in the 0.10.10 update, sapper did get nerfed slightly, but this should still be the EASIEST way possible.

Needed items: Grenades
This differs only slightly from lemonade’s strat in that we rely on caltrops to utilize grenades for killing a lot of zombies in one area, and we use some barricades for an escape route out the window and around the house in case you panic or zombies overwhelm you.
-Pre-wave/after each wave
As shown in the video, go to the main red house and build 2 barricades by the door. Right behind, build caltrops. Near the stairs, build another 2 barricades in a line. At the top of the stairs, another 2 barricades. Out the left window (if you are facing the doorway from inside), 2 barricades in a line outside the first window (these will be used for escaping if the situation becomes dire.) This leaves you with 1 free building slot, which I just used to build some spikes.
-Waves
For 1-6, just defend barriers 1 and 2 to prevent zombies from getting in. There aren’t any bombers or zappers so this shouldn’t be a problem.
For 7-19, this is when the strategy comes in. Simply defend the front barriers as long as possible until you notice huge amounts of zombies building up. Using a grenade, hold it for a little and then switch tools. This will drop the grenade where you are standing. Back up to the second set of barriers and a LOT of zombies should be killed, as they are all trapped on the caltrops when the grenade is exploding. Then trigger any bombers that are left and walk away, and if there are none, just defend the barriers until there aren’t any zombies.
-In dire situations
If the strategy above is done, then there should be little to no zombies left outside. When zombies push you all the way out, jump out of the window and walk around to where you built the barriers by the window. If there are only a small amount of zombies left, just defend the barriers. If there are a lot, keep looping up the stairs, out the window and around again, killing 1-3 zombies with your axe until there are none left.
As you can see, I panicked on the last wave, using all my grenades, but using the method above for dire situations, I eventually killed them all and got the badge. Hopefully this helps you and good luck getting Alone at the End of the World!
Didn't foggy fields get it's option to unlock this achievement removed? I tried like 5 times and the " Perhaps you truly are alone " phrase didn't appear, and some randoms at the dizzy server told me that you couldn't get this achievement in foggy anymore

Yes it did a few hours after I posted this video. That's why I changed the description. Sorry if it was confusing but you cannot get it on foggy anymore.

ty for this strat it was very easy but i still died at wave 18 at 2nd try due to MY OWN mistakes i tried to get out the window that is near the beds but couldnt and got grabbed if there will be no skill issue like i have then its very easy strat

It's better to distract the last zombie with any barricade near him, so you have more time to build more barricades
Pretty cool strat, sadly I discover this strat too late cause I got the badge by soloing Vardohus fortress map. It's work but very very tight

I often died in waves 12-19, maybe because I didn't use an axe, because the pickaxe only killed 1-2 zombies, while the ax could kill 1-4, although it was a bit slow.
you can try to unequip it after each swing to attack faster
May i ask something? Is using Pickaxe useful, since it doesn't do any splash damage but does a high amount of damage and an increased swingrate. So is it useful to use with this strat?
To me, I don’t it is since it doesn’t have any piercing damage to a horde of zombies and if theres a big horde, what am i even going to do? They might just tore down your barricades so fast, you can use grenades but it has 3 uses and the pickaxe has a slightly shorter hitbox so I don’t think its useful, if you want to try it, try it.
It's useful to kill more zombies than to deal more damage using this strat. Plus, axe one shots all the way up to wave 18 anyways.
For me, only use pickaxe if ur in private server and you PVP, other than that, that weapon is doodoo, axe can already one shot basically everything and 2 shots for zapper
pickaxe is fine i guess but it really bad against a crowd so stick with the axe

Its basically simple lure the bombers to the barricade with a horde of the zombie's and then they die
İ tried this without grenade and kept dying on wave 17
the fact that he did this on ps5 and i cant even get past wave 15 is wild
I did use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard which helped a lot

i shouldve done this map instead, its so much easier without runners since their hitboxes can be janky
You could def do this with a musket and a grenade
strat works somewhat well, but for some fucking reason the shamblers are just so janky they destroyed my barricades in seconds and grabbed me the moment I tried to go upstairs

On mobile, i found that you cant build between the two houses (for the dire situations thing). Is this a glitch, or skill issue?

You can't use any commands except for forcemap.

Look man, keep trying. This is the easiest way. I think I got it in the 3-5th attempt, but I'm sure many other people had to try way more to get there.

@@NyitKOBro this is the most easiest one since theres no runner spawning, just build and swing at the right moment and once the building is destroyed just bait them till all of them died. It only took me 2 times to finish this
I used this strat but i also placed stakes right in front of the house entrance so that bombers die instantly after touching the stakes. I managed to get to round 18 but i died due to a miscalculation. Should I re-do It like this or do i trash the stakes idea?
@@cap7648 I would trash the stakes idea. One of the main points of the strategy is to gather all the zombies up against 1 or 2 barricades, and bait the bomber into blowing them all up. With the stakes idea, the bomber isn't going to kill a lot of his fellow zombies.

So does the description mean forcemap isn’t able to be used at all or it only cant be used for the foggy map
@@BrandonBreakfast you can use forcemap but only once per server. if you fail you need to restart the server to use forcemap again.
also, foggy map doesnt work at all.

Use the "dire situation" loop a lot more often, following what I do in wave 19. As long as you keep trying that, you should eventually get it

I'm not sure, but I don't think that it gives francs. I'm pretty sure it only gives the glasses and the beard cosmetics.

You only have to reach it, that's why I didnt show until wave 21

I had an alt on my phone, made the alt join its own private server, then I joined the alt from my main PlayStation account.
Then I entered the needed commands and made the alt leave.

@@brazil13546 alright, so press triangle to open your inventory, press that big button in the top middle of the controller (idk what it's called) to use the gamepad selector, a blue box should highlight something now. If you can't see it, use the dpad to move the selector around, and once you find it , go select the item in the inventory. Once you have it selected, press the square button. A wheel should show up showing all the items in your hotbar. Use the joystick to put the little dot onto the item you want to switch out. Then, just press X.
I suprisingly got this badge at hougoumont, it was kinda difficult because of the constant runners... but still possible with the help of a friend of mine... "Double Barreled Flintlock"

No, but I guess it could help. I did it without using shove, as the controls are kinda weird on my Bluetooth keyboard

You could probably also use the armor just incase
Armor won't help against hordes of zombies. The only thing it will help against is zappers and zappers are really easy to counter. Since this might take multiple tries, I wouldn't suggest buying armor
