The one thing I want to add to this - The very first All In had nothing to do with Tony Khan or AEW. Dave Meltzer had tweeted that an indy show could never do 10k seats in the current wrestling landscape (pre AEW). Cody and 'The Elite' (Matt & Nick Jackson, and Kenny Omega) all took this as a challenge. The very first All In was 100% independent and to prove a point. Without that show AEW doesn't exist, as Tony only approached the men after the success of the show. A show that was built on the back of the rising popularity of Rhodes, The Jackson's and many other Indy talent that would go on to be big players in AEW.
Aside from that, amazing video and you should definitely dive more into topics like this in the wrestling world. We're starved for great storytellers like yourselves on this platform.

That is all indeed true! I definitely had to pick and choose which details to include, it was tough not to go too deep. It felt like there were endless rabbit holes. During Cody's final match as Stardust he was wrestling Zack Ryder, and part of me wanted to stop the whole thing to explain how Long Island Iced Z somehow became the modern era's most famous death match wrestler. Wrestling's crazy, man.

@@revisitingtv I'd love to see that spin-off from this one. Wrestling is indeed crazy, and it deserves a much larger and more gracious spotlight, as you've done here.
