I love how your go to yarn is mostly Red Heart it's the only yarn I currently have access to, so I will surely be trying this hat. Thank you for the tutorial!
Omg I’m so excited to make this! I’ve wanted to crochet a cat ear beanie for so long but I feel like it’d take forever. This is actually something I can finish! 🩷
@@VivCrochets I just started! Do you have a method of having less ends from the color changes? I’m doing the same design as your green and white one. :]
That's crazy. Why do they charge so much? It doesn't use a ton of yarn and are quick to make, so it's not like they're trying to recoup material cost or for the time it takes to make this item. I'm sorry, but $15-$20 seems more reasonable to me. This is why a lot of people don't want to pay for handmade items, overcharging on certain items, so it scares them away from the bigger ticket items. Just my opinion though.
@@thewitchhut63 You have to consider that it takes about 1-3 hours to make, plus you're paying close to 10 dollars for shipping and supplies. At the end of the day your not even making minimum wage for the time you put in. $30-$50 is very reasonable.
@@thewitchhut63 this price is actually reasonable. Let's say it takes 3 hours approx to make it. You buy your colors for 15, work three hours minimum wage 7,25x3 equals 21,75+yarn equals 36,75...its very reasonable. Plus, take into consideration that as a creator you need to align with the market and competition, the leader is arkyve, selling for 75USD. But i get the frustration !

Yes!! It does take forever!! But it is so worth it!!! I am a beginner and it took me about 8 hours to make 8 granny squares
Thank you so much for this video demo! I wanted to make a granny square cat hat, the best value video on YT. Thanks!
love it! it was so fun to make!
Hey girl, I made this and completely loved it. Coming back to this video to make another one😁😍. Thank you for this tutorial gurll🌼🌷💙.

Good morning 🌄🌞 blessings ☕ awesome 👍🏾 thank you
Thankyouuuuu.......I made one for my brother🤭☺💕
Your smile is so sweet ✨️
so cool !!
do you block your squares? they look neat! Also, do you need to be counting stitches while working with granny squares? cause i never do...
I'm using acrylic yarn. And a 6.5 crochet hook. My holes look larger than your hat. Should I go a size down n in my crochet hook?
Yes , i used to do the same mistake😊
If you’re making one with 2 squares, what should the measurements be?
Each square should be half the circumference of your head!
@@VivCrochetsthank you!
Question.. there's some holes on the pattern, would that affect/will it be cold?? Or still warm? Thank you
Did you block it or wear it as/is?
What will be the measurement if my head is 62cm
i know im late, but it’s 15.5 cm
I wanna sell a cat benie and how much it cost ?
A granny square beanie
