I have one point. The CH6 in Pixhawk is used for the PID-Tune manual (By potentiometer). Since you have 16 channels on the radio, you can set the gimbal to a different channel, because every time you want to change PIDs with a potentiometer - you will definitely want to use a different potentiometer than "RS". - and during PID, the gimbal will not lean up and down. I have a TX16S it's almost the same as yours and a Pixhawk, I found the way to use the mixer page and configure channels 5 and 6 to work whit all my modes now, the simple thing is not working for me ARMING, the Quad is not arming when I move the stick inwards, nothing it's happening I try using the SF switch setting it up as ARMDISARM action from the extended tuning menu in Mission Planner, how did you manage to have yours to arm? Frsky, my friends has the same setup. Two of them one with fmuv2 and fmuv3, he has to diable in the AMcheck RC and Prams in mission planner before it will arm in any mode. What about your setup? I think Pixhawk and APM boards will not work 100% correct in the only SBUS Reciever. They like PPM. Pikhawk SBUS is out for special servos that run on SBUS. PPM IN and SBUS OUT.
When you've set up a mix and you want it on a different channel, just long press the wheel with the channel selected, choose "move" and move it to a different channel. So instead of recreating what you did for channel 8, you can just move it to channel 5.

The SBUS Pins on the Pixhawk is an output port. The Inputs are Named RC-in - confusing, but thats how they did it.
