40 zoom value is always awesome to me. I don't like the tunnel effect I get from higher zoom snipers. I do love Cloudstrike, but that high zoom value hurts. 40 is amazing to me. It allows for more versatility map-wise.

right now my favorite kinetic sniper is the adept silicon neuroma with snapshot/opening shot. it's just so awesomely sticky.
10 extra stability is giving you 1% extra flinch resist, just go with handling
Edit for clarification: 100 stability gives 10% flinch resist, therefore +10 stability gives 1%
Not to mention this is DESTINY 2 FLINCH, it’s either gonna throw him off or give free headshots, so there’s no need to care anyways

Great Video! The Defiance of Yasmin is literally the only sniper I can use effectively, I suck with everything else.
Not sure why but when I used mine in trials last weekend it just wasn’t it. I ended up digging out the 1k yard stare with snap and QD and that felt better. There’s only a zoom difference of 3. 40 for defiance and 43 for 1k. I don’t have the enhanced perks on my defiance and I was most likely just rusty.
Not sure why nothing statically stands out about 1k yard stare but it always just felt way better than any sniper to me
I thought 1000 Yard was 46 zoom?

Well if you ever glance at top 100 players on trials report you see a lot of guys use 1k. I think it’s the 44 zoom combined with a clean reticle but tbh I still think silicon neuroma is without a doubt the best sniper in the game.
I chose opening shot and firefly, both enhanced with a handling mw. I had each of the nob crafted versions and I like firefly more than snapshot.

man please battle scar feels so good, i got one with hammerforged, steady rounds, keep away and head seeker and range masterwork, feels really good, but could have a bit more range imo
they should make an exotic weapon that has no damage purpose but rather a movement purpose that's not a heavy weapon.
It just needs the sound from D1 and this sniper would be my favorite hands down
45 Zoom is my go to for sniping. Adored and Eye of Sol are my two favorite 90s. If Im using a 72 Im using my godly Albruna I mentioned in the comments a while back. 45 Zoom is the best all round imo

Have you tried the Battle Scar lightweight pulse yet? I have a perpetual motion/headseeker roll that I tried last night, and it felt surprisingly good 👍
i have a keep away headseeker roll that i love
field tested + stat perk is a crazy combo. the base stats aren't amazing, but when you have all the buffs from a perk + origin trait it feels great
4:10 it's SUPPOSED to only be possible to collat with armor-piercing rounds.
(I have a clip posted of a Shepherd's Watch getting a collat, even though it can't roll AP rounds)
Most magazine perks just guarantee effects like that. While every bullet has chance to ricochet, ricochet rounds guarantees it. Every bullet also has a chance to collat, but armor piercing rounds guarantees that.

i just started using cloudstrike today and it slaps but the flinch also slaps so you got to make sure you alnd the first shot otherwise you are gonna go to the moon even with 3 unflinching mods

I'm curious Wallah, what stats do you run for PvP? I'm a hunter main who refuses to stop using stompees, and I always use 100 mobility, and I try to keep 70 resilience because of how much health and flinch resist you get, but I'm starting to wonder if I want to drop a few tiers of Res to get like 70-90 recov. Not being able to heal without the help of a healing nade kinda sucks.
Also, what's the roll on your Igneous?
50 res for hunters is acceptable otherwise your going to get diminishing returns, as you'll be sacrificing recov for resilience and the trade off just isn't worth it, even with healing nades.
