Ben has acted so selfishly! Way back in the late 90s I told my husband that Ben and Jennifer Garner would make the perfect couple. I was so happy to hear when they met, got married, and had children. I had no idea that this very special lady was about to be involved with a man whose only thought was for himself. She helped him through his alcoholism and his prior demons, trying to get him interested in being a great dad! Once again he wasn’t satisfied with his life and went back to a woman, (JLo), who cannot keep a relationship together to save her life! Ben had to know this would devastate his children, but selfishly was unconcerned. He says he hates to be seen by the public because people gather around him, and gets angry when the paparazzi take his photo and follow him around. I mean, really?! It is not like they don’t know this comes with the territory, and all of the money they make! Nobody would like being stalked 24/7, however, that’s the business he decided to be in. There’s ups and downs to everything in life. I just wish he would grow up finally and see what a blessed human being he truly is! I used to believe he was a great guy and actor. These days, he’s just pathetic in his actions towards the people who love and care so deeply for him. IMHO, he’s got a long way to go to being a great husband for any woman, and even farther to being the dad he should be to his children! He’s supposed to be a role model in their lives. All they’ve seen from him is that he won’t give up anything he desires for his family’s greater good. Showing your children that marriage is hard and it takes work to grow together instead of apart, would have been a wonderful place to start! All of these children raised with selfish actors and actresses will grow up lacking in attributes that are relatable to normal every day people. Jennifer Garner deserves honors for what she’s been through just from Ben. Enough said.

He behaves so impulsively, so selfishly and yet people literally criticize the women who have to show him how to be a responsible caring considerate respectful adult. Ben Affleck never respected Garner, he made his vices worse and he did not care about it (alcohol, drugs,smoking,cheating, gambling, partying) He already cheated on her with Lindsay Shookus who he met in SNL and dated her on-and-off since mid-2013, when he filed for divorce and Garner rejected it, also he cheated on her with the nanny in 2015, before they announced their divorce. Garner always controlled him because as she said in 2011, she did not take anything for granted with that man, he never gave security, she always pursued him and he humiliated her with his behavior. Garner was a scorned doormat for him, who never showed he was truly in love with her. Garner said in a 2016 Vanity Fair interview, that the marriage continued because she had patience, and that Ben was a cold man who could cast a long shadow over her, adding that he was also a distant and absent husband. They fought a lot , Ben said in a 2021 Howard Stern interview, that they would end up at each other"s throats if they did not get divorced, and that after the arguments he would get drunk in front of the children and fall asleep on a couch. Finaly he dumped her and divorced her, even though he tried hard to be a good father. Now they are good co-parents and that is fine for the children. Garner deserves a better man, who truly loves her and treats her well, without using or humiliating her.
