I have loved this song since the first time I heard it. Im raising my kids with the same awsome music I grew up on, not this baby-ier/googoo crap thats being released this decade. I hope others see fit to do the same or our kids generation is so hooped!!!
This is my new favorite song. I love the whole flower duet thing in the background (nice touch). Plus, his voice is so dreamy. If only he was about 20 years younger today, unmarried and had no kids. Damn!
A lot of excellent Canadian Alternative groups from the 1990's in Canada that the world know nothing of, because the record industry did not promote them right.most of the songs would have been on the top 40 or any radio station of any country for sure that's how under rated they are.The Odds, The Trews, Sloan, Mathew Good Band, Watchmen, Big Sugar, Marcy Playground, Skydiggers, Illscarlett, Junkhouse etc, just you tube them and enjoy.
Thanks for the vid! It's a triumph for both East and West as David Usher is half-Asian , an accomplished singer/songwriter/humanist and all-around great guy!
he's working on an acoustic record right now. he's also doing a fall tour right now (unfortunately only Quebec). he has had albums come out in 98, 01, 03, 05, 07, and 08.
hahha! wow. this song is on my playlist and it is usually followed by the flower duet from lakme. i was wondered why they sounded so good together. and now i know
I'm very addicted to this song right now, I admit it. It could play every minute of every day and I just wouldn't care one bit. Of course, I say that now. In a week or two I'll hate this song and be off listening to Led Zepplin. XD
It was one of the songs in soundtrack of Nip/Tuck. I don't remember its name, but I remember the scene it was used. It was one of the most depressing scenes I have ever seen. An unsuccessful medical attempt to separate conjoined twins.
Much music really used to not suck. Music today is so awful, they don't even bother playing it. They just put on reality tv, or shit like the O.C. So sad.

Still such a stunning beauty of a song, the early 00s were so full of great music. So much better than the soulless edm crap of today.

Its basically about that evil is nor where no matter how much you try to ignore it. "Something ugly this way comes, through my fingers sliding inside"

He actually has a band called Dogstar, in which he sings backing vocals. So, around 1991 Keanu Reeves started singing (professionally, that is).
