I love that chunky pink necklace and the shells, globby one...Those dresses are beautiful....love the sheer one w/ medallions. So I bought 2 Wedding dresses for $20 each..the guy brought two huge garbage bags full of clothing items along with the dresses. When I pulled everything out of the bags, there was 3 baby boy outfits, a pair of men's suspenders, 1 Very long yucky polyester dress, 1 pretty cotton eyelet and beading tiered dress, 1 satin w/ rhinestone buckle, annnnnnnnd 20...YES, TWENTY small to large cotton w/ Tulle slip thingy's that go under the dresses of attendees in a wedding.. I am quite overwhelmed...they took up far less room in the bag, than on hangers..... WOW! And I had a cart fullof linens,and paper good, & books and was charged $20...so $64 in all....
Ohhh what fun! I would love to see some pics of your haul. Maybe you could share them in the fb groups. Once you start taking apart and folding things it takes up less room. Happy creating!
Awesome thrift haul, Kim! I like the big bundle of envelopes, and the leather book is gorgeous. Love the girls' dresses, so many flowers there to harvest. Have a wonderful time on your trip as I know you will! Onwards to 4K woot woot! Congratulations in advance as you will be there in no time!

wow lots of awesome jewelry, I have some beads that need cleaning and have not decided how I wanted to wash them yet... I look at jewelry here in thrift shops, but a necklace will run 6 to 10 bucks. I am excited the Lions sale starts up on April 5th! Your trip will be so much fun!

Hi Carol, yes I used to repurpose jewelry into mixed media creations as well as recycle into new jewelry. I havent for a while now but hoping to get back into it. After the flower series on tech tuesdays my plan is to start a jewelry repurpose series. So probably May or June I will start.
