Then the afterhours clubs opened after Mayor Whitmyer started to close clubs at 2am because teens where coming home all rolling and X'd out. Blamed it on the clubs. It got worse when after hour clubs opened from 1-6am, Club Am, Club Proteus made t-shirts that said "Do you know where your children are?" Awesome!!
Agree 100%. Dallas had a couple (Starck) but they catered more to the "stars" & played mostly watered-down music like 6400 who tried to appeal to the masses rather than stay true to the music. The other clubs you mentioned were the sh!t, was a regular at all of them, plus Xcess, Club Some, etc.

I used to groove to this at The Palace, Florentine Gardens and other Hollywood dance clubs back in the 80's. Sounded awesome when pumped through giant sound systems, playing so loud that you felt the thump in your body....

This is HEAVEN, just pure synth heaven! DJ Abe used to play this at the old Club 950 in Chicago in the late 90s, ten years after it was released. How I miss those times--but listening to this now brings back that special feeling.

The person that actually owns this phone does not dig this music like i do. I was in the city and she was a country girl from a Indian reservation. She missed the post punk synth pop underground music. I missed experiencing a La Kota Indian reservation.

Early 90s was Bayou Mamas , Blue Planet , Netwerk and Lizard Lounge and later on Tantric . 6400 was the shit though . Killer times
