Scotch brite pads cut into 3, warm cold water, 2cups of vinegar, salt, run cycle 3 times, wash cycle, two portions of suavitel, take out the scrubbers.

This works, soaked my hard denim jeans in white vinegsr 16 cups of warm water to 2 cups for 7 hours in a bucket. Then machine washed them once with scourer pads and softener, it worked softer material. Thanks you for this post...

Wow! It worked on 3 cheep Amazon T-shirts. Buying on line you don’t know what you’ll get, and when cardboard shorts arrive it’s a little disappointing. So following your tip help soften them up quite a bit. Thank you

I appreciate the info and the video but my tan levi tag on the back of the pants got ripped to shreds pretty much ruining the pants so that sucks. Just a heads up

If your wash tank is enameled, won't the scotch brite pads ruin the enameling?

Do you think this method would be too harsh for a starchy cotton shirt?

Can I soak the jeans in vinegar + water? Or just pure vinegar?
