Hello Sir, I corrected my father spelling name in Pan and got the new pan card with same pan number and correct name. But, when I am verifying his name it says pan is active but details not as per pan. Also, when I verify if its linked with adhar it gives an error msg. And when I check with the old name it says pan is active. What should I do so that correct name would reflect everywhere? It has created a lot of problems.

I'm not able to enter the PAN details it is asking for TAN details
I have doubt the physical / hard copy of PAN have correct Name but it is not correct on new income tax portal. So does that need to update my PAN Card as I have to register on new income tax portal.
If the order of name (first, second etc) are misplaced then it might be ok. But if the name itself is wrong (spelling mistakes etc) you might need to give a correction request. But you can do that parallel. You dont need to wait to register in IT portal. You can go ahead with your registration in the incometax portal

Only solution is : IT dept should collect Aadhaar details from us and issue fresh PAN cards themselves instead of this harrassment of miniscule matching. Also do not depend on computer database always.
