It was really fun but they shut the game down many years ago. It was called "The Best. Game. Ever." Something like that.

Gwen was my favorite I watched this as a kid. I am now 19 and still watch the show on Netflix. I think I would defiantly would love a rebut with the original style and characters. Maybe their kids would be contestants, or maybe keep them the same age.

Total Drama Island is a show I always considered an unsung masterpiece. I can never really identify what about this show is so good all around. I just know I really enjoy it, finally seeing it get some recognition though, makes me wanna go back a third time and rewatch it all again. I watched it as a teen, and it held my interest. As a young adult in school i went back a second time to catch some ep's I missed and just to nostaligia. Surprisingly it was still immensely enthralling for me, to the extent that i watched some episodes twice. This time I wanna watch it critically and really try to find what the spark in this show was, cause it was amazing in some way that has yet to be replicated.

i suppose my favorite character would be beth but in terms of what character i wish had more development would be katie and sadie i really liked them, but the fact that they depended on one another made me worry about the both of them, and i feel like a story arc where the two learn to be independent of one another would have made for a perfect story for the two to face together

I didnt know this show was such a hit. Ah nostalgia, I will say they ruined Duncan and Courtney with the love triangle of Gwen, that was annoying. It also derailed gwens character. Oh well
When all the seasons dropped on netflix recently I convinced my husband to watch it with me as I wanted to rewatch it with the seasons I didn't watch. He didn't like it at first but now we are already on season 2 and he loves it and got very invested in the show. I love total drama. Fantastic characters challenges and comedy gold. 👏
Im going to sound really old saying this but they were so right when they said reality tv was big for kids in the early 2000s. I remember watching Endurance on Discovery kids and that show was my jam. It was Survivor with kids my age and it rocked. Then TDI hit and I was hooked too. I got really invested in the story and got mad when my favorite characters would lose. Im 20 now and have been rewatching the show and it still holds up. I love TDI (Harold and Lashawna for life)

Neat video. Re: #78 and 93: I have always hated, hated, *hated* the idea of Gwen and Duncan as a couple. They work together because they're so similar? If anything, that should be more of a justification for why the coupling is a bad idea. This makes them seem more like siblings or cousins. Besides, the Goth chick paired with the delinquent? I get the sense that this decision took less than ten seconds to arrive at. Why, yes I am a Gwent shipper.

My favorite was Ezekiel. When I first saw him and Chris says “What’s up Man” and Ezekiel replies with “I think I see a bird!” I knew I would love this character. Then he got removed on episode freaking 2!

Also as I remember TDI came to the US before 6Teen (unlike in Canada where 6Teen came first), so because they had similar actors that was their major selling point so people can watch 6Teen because it had the same actors as the wildly popular at the time Total Drama Island

but in terms of what character i wish had more development would be katie and sadie
i really liked them, but the fact that they depended on one another made me worry about the both of them, and i feel like a story arc where the two learn to be independent of one another would have made for a perfect story for the two to face together

When all the seasons dropped on netflix recently I convinced my husband to watch it with me as I wanted to rewatch it with the seasons I didn't watch. He didn't like it at first but now we are already on season 2 and he loves it and got very invested in the show. I love total drama. Fantastic characters challenges and comedy gold. 👏

Im going to sound really old saying this but they were so right when they said reality tv was big for kids in the early 2000s. I remember watching Endurance on Discovery kids and that show was my jam. It was Survivor with kids my age and it rocked. Then TDI hit and I was hooked too. I got really invested in the story and got mad when my favorite characters would lose. Im 20 now and have been rewatching the show and it still holds up. I love TDI (Harold and Lashawna for life)

Re: #78 and 93: I have always hated, hated, *hated* the idea of Gwen and Duncan as a couple. They work together because they're so similar? If anything, that should be more of a justification for why the coupling is a bad idea. This makes them seem more like siblings or cousins. Besides, the Goth chick paired with the delinquent? I get the sense that this decision took less than ten seconds to arrive at.

This is an unpopular opinion but I really liked The Ridonculous Race.
I wonder if we'll get a season 7 of Total Drama.
Sonic Gamer *Season 6 Pahkitew Island and All Stars were grouped together . And Redonculous Race was a Spin off. Also , I heard they have a goal of getting TD to season 10

I didn't enjoy Ridonculous Race because Chris wasn't there and half of the characters weren't there and only 2 from the other seasons were there

I'm pretty sure when "6Teen" came to the States it's major selling point was that it had the voice actors from TDI (it got me sold on it)

Also as I remember TDI came to the US before 6Teen (unlike in Canada where 6Teen came first), so because they had similar actors that was their major selling point so people can watch 6Teen because it had the same actors as the wildly popular at the time Total Drama Island
