What is Simmons’ contract value? They’re trying to sign Aiyuk to a multi year deal that isn’t gonna be a bargain basement deal…why sign a one season rental agreement for Simmons…? That makes absolutely no sense to me, with a player of his caliber…is he gonna be cheaper on a new deal than Hufanga would be on his new deal?…Edge Rushers? How many of the guys you mentioned play the run as well as they do the pass? Offenses are going to more three step drop, quick pass plays, negating high price edge rushers who specialize in getting to the QB from the outside….yeah signing these guys is all well and good Larry, but they’re gonna cost $$$$, that the 9ers are gonna be tight on…..

These days the ball comes out so fast idk if pass rushers should be prioritized. The secondary needs to be strong. I like Simmons on a friendly deal. But not huge$$.

No team knows exactly what they have until camp. Then not even truly until September. Adding people sounds good, but affordable???
