Hello from Montreal, what is the updates about mining BTC to Nicehash with the Iceriver K5L? I am curious to know how it performs and what are the earnings if you dont mind.
I'm about 50% KAS on my ASICs, but I'm hesitating buying more. The network hashrate is already going crazy and the August batch of KS5 Pro's hasn't even shipped. KAS is going to have pump hugely to keep up the profits. There's not a lot on KAS right now, and the new industrial/government plan they announced will take a while to see any real use of the network. Instead I'm looking at adding more scrypt ASICs and ETC.
if you are going to test coin for coin on the same machine then both machines should start at the same time, given the coin price fluctuation over a set period. I'd like a four way test. Two machines and two (fictitious ) purchases of the two coins all at the same time over the same period,

With the rate of newer higher hashrate miners being pumped out every 6 months, the miners you bought today will be worthless in a year. Better to buy the coin if you actually want profits
When I was mining and getting paid in bitcoin, I always swap it to the coins I believe that's going to do well and for the most part it did. Etc went to $175, Ada to almost $3, doge to 70 cents and so forth. By swapping, I gained more value than sticking with bitcoin and at that time I had almost 100 gpu mining. Now I have less than 6. Those were the days. Edit: Bitcoin tends to rally first, so during my time of mining every time we have a mini rally and Bitcoin shoots up, that's when I switch to the alt coins and gain more of the alt coin value than mining directly if that makes sense.
HODL, prob not this cycle; but next cycle… I can see Kaspa being the ETH killer. This is going to be a very interesting watch over the next 1-6 years. Happy mining brother!
@RedPandaMining 100% stop that crazy test, IMO would mine and hold Kaspa, Kaspa is like dogecoin right now just not going away as so many people truly believe it in, i have 3.7M Kaspa and will not sell it until Kaspa is over 36cent .. 50cent would be sweet, omg $1 even better! Anyways we all know what the result will be, if BTC gets to $100-120k Kaspa will be at 60-70cent.. more gain from Kaspa!!
How do you get that many without mining it?! VPN for US users? No exchange allows me in their site. Trade ogre was the only place I knew and lost ~6k tokens.
