Here is my video for my keychain pattern for the acts of kindness groups.
These keychains are made up of two basic stitches, the chain and single crochet.
    The pony beads roll freely.
⚠️ WARNING: Small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 or those individuals who have a tendency to put things in their mouths. At the first sign of unraveling, remove. Not a toy.
    US terms
    Materials needed:
    Worsted Weight or 4-ply Yarn
Hook size: F (3.75mm) and, if needed, a smaller hook that will fit through your beads of choice.
If you are using a thinner yarn, you might choose to use a G(4mm)hook.
7 pony beads or beads of choice
    scissors
    needle for weaving in ends
    keychain, if you want
Note: Thread the beads onto the yarn prior to crocheting in order from the top bead to the bottom.
Begin: CH 6. Our foundation chain.
Row 1: Place 1sc in the 2nd chain from the hook. CH3. Placement of 1st bead (see instructions below). Place 1sc in the last chain. CH1 and turn.
Row 2: Place 1sc in the 1st sc. CH3. Slide a bead onto the CH3. Place 1sc in the last sc. CH1 and turn.
    Row 3: Repeat Row 2.
Row 4: Place 1sc in the 1st sc. CH3. Slide 3 beads onto the CH3. Place 1sc in the last sc. CH1 and turn.
    Row 5: Repeat Row 2
Row 6: Place 1sc in the 1st sc. CH3. Place 1sc in the last sc. Do not fasten off.
    Border
Step 1. Ch1. You will crochet along this first side to left. Place 1sc in this space and in every space between the rows and not in any of the stitches, stopping before the foundation chain. (5sc)
Step 2. Place 7sc around the foundation chain.
Step 3. You will crochet on the other side. 1sc in every space between the rows, stopping before the final chain.
Step 4. Place 6sc around this last row of chain space. Slip stitch into the first sc and fasten off, leaving a long tail for attaching keychain and weaving, if so desired.
To place beads: CH3. Remove crochet hook from the loop. Bring bead to the loop. Using the smaller hook, insert it into the bead and grab loop to pull through the bead. Slide onto the CH3. Change the hook and continue crocheting.
Hope you like them as much as I love making them.

Thank you for sharing your pattern in vid and written out. It's so easy to follow. Also it is quick and simple to make.🤗
We found out yesterday that my parents-in-law need to leave town this morning for my father-in-laws liver transplant and will be away from home for a month or maybe more. I wanted to make something small that each of them could carry with them easily and also help to relieve some nervous energy during the waiting periods, and this was perfect. I was able to make two and give it to them this morning before they left. ❤

I’d love to see more crochet patterns using beads. I used to make keychains with leather and have tons of beads left over. It would be nice to make some small crochet gifts for friends and family. I have nerve damage in my hands so it is hard to make a lot of larger projects. Thank you!!!❤

Cool pattern! I’ve been searching everywhere for a crochet cross pattern that would be less “ girly”. Wanted something that either gender would like. This is perfect! Thanks. Looking forward to seeing more of your ideas. 😁

I did. It is the Fidget Cross using alphabet beads with a way to attach the keychain without a keychain loop. Check it out and let me know what you think. Thank you for loving it and for visiting my channel. However, I have been thinking the first video might need to be freshened up. Stay tuned. 😊

What do mean the bigger the number the thinner the yarn? What number?

    • @CrochetingAroundMyKitche-uw8zq
      @CrochetingAroundMyKitche-uw8zq  Рік тому

In the video, I was referring to the number in the square of the yarn skein label. They have stitches per 4 inch square. The larger the number or higher the numbers, the thinner the yarn. More stitches are needed to make a 4"square. On each label, they have a square for knitting, and one for crochet. It is a gauge by which to choose the right yarn for a project or pattern you choose and you might not have the exact yarn recommended for the project.
