- Here we have my Whistles & Tones compilation for 2019 in the UK.
The whistles and horns featured range from those of the locos on the narrow gauge railways of Wales, to those of the workhorse class 37s, and to the whistle of Jeep no 4 in Northern Ireland.
These are most of the whistles and tones I caught on film during 2019.
Hope you enjoy. - Розваги
5:55 if i closed my eyes for this one i would probably confuse it with the tallylyn railway no2 "dolgoch"s whistle as they sound so similar

Cheers, yeah, went to Bridgend and Maesteg last year. I have a full video of it with 175002 on the thumbnail underneath the footbridge.
@@Meengineer100 ok sounds good
Nice tones mate
Cheers.
0:10 & 1:57 kinda reminds me of an N&W hooter whistle a bit 🤔🤔🤔🤔
But more on a high pitch
Mostly Welsh based brilliant
Loved it
Keep up the good work 😁
Thanks, it's a bit more difficult for me to travel to other parts of the UK. I could just do a Welsh railways edition lol. Glad you enjoyed me video. :)
No matter how hard you try, some of them cause the camera to shake if you’re not expecting one! Mainly the modern ones at speed, close up.
Yeah, some of them will always make anyone jump! Thanks for watching!
6:42 All I hear is Edward's whistle
Interestingly that loco is named Prince Edward of Wales.
Coincidence? I think not!!
@@TracksideManiac Haha, I suppose Edward was named after this Bassett Lowke loco then. ;)
1:22 hey Look it is Freddie
Russell. :)
wheres thomas.
U.K. Seems so harmless after you listen to American whistles and horns
In the UK on the mainline they try to limit horn usage because people complain that they make too much noise. Now our newest train have quiet horns which just defeats the objective.
diesels horns=rather cringy imo
steam whistles=very good sounding and satisfying to hear once in a while
