Yet again, good timing brought me into the middle of a major disruption of service in the Montreal Metro. Before even leaving Côte-Vertu, a message that declared a service slowdown on the Orange Line to Montmorency made obvious that something was amiss. The minor slowdown quickly evolved into both the Green and Orange lines being mostly shut down, to the point where dir. Montmorency trains starting at Côte-Vertu began turning around at Plamondon, where most of this was filmed. All caused by a minor fire on board a train at Lionel-Groulx, one of the crossings of Lines 1 and 2. Sit back and enjoy the footage! - Авто та транспорт

This is happening a lot lately. It's getting so annoying. I'm always late for everything.
It is true that many service disruptions happen on a daily basis, but the rolling stock is not always to blame. Often unruly passengers or people who don't respect certain rules cause issues, among other things that are obviously more disturbing and tragic.

i wish theyd do the announcements in english as well as french, years ago when I went to Montreal I couldnt figure out at all what they were saying.
Special Announcements are in english in the new azur train ! I was suprised when i heard Michèle Deslauriers speak english but it's was a special situation ( the announcement said "please quit the train immidiatly (...)" and the announcement was displayed on the map screen ) It's was at rush hour (7:40 am) I was at Henri-Bourrassa station. There were hundreds of people on the train platform who was stuck and there was a lot of code announced by Michèle Deslaurier in French (Attention à tous le personnel, Code 900-xx à la station x.x.x) ... ! Every train was stuck at Henri-Bourrassa so they were asking to leave the train and there were a lot of people on the train plattform, but people didn't move to the exit... I think it was a suicide at Laurier Station... :(
2:19 How was the other train able to move? The driver wasn't even sitting in his seat.
On the Green Line it should be between Angrinion and McGill and on the Orange line between Snowdon and Bonaventure
You said that there where probably no air in the door you where trying to shut it. Does that means that doors runs on pneumatics ?

Now that I think of it, probably now. It's a mechanical system, but they switched it into a manual mode to be able to shut them like that. Guess I wasn't really thinking at the time of recording this video. :P
