I'm really happy to get a nice reply from someone who can actually use grammar and so forth, it just shows how much effort you put in to your writing. Well done mate.

This is one of the rare punk bands that i like... continue the good job!
I met Wattie (the singer) once in Holland. Although he looks terrifying, he's really a great guy. If you meet him, treat him like you want to be treated yourself, you'll find he's a great person.
The Exploited are true Street Punk Rockers! They did this album as a hommage to Slayer because they are Slayer's fans. They arent the only one band who mixed up anarchy punk with thrash metal, DRI and S.O.D. did too.
For my money these guys were one of the best punk bands ever. I love everything I've ever heard of them and if I'm honest preferred the last two albums. They are much better than The Misfits who seem to be the trend at the moment.
there's also a difference in knowing something and realising something. you can know water is hot but you'll never fully realise it until you touch it or at least come near it.
I admit it sounds like metal, but trust me this is real punk. Punk is a way of life, not just music. I know Wattie lives in Holland now, and he made a Hardcore House album with a friend. House is not punk, but if you hear that album you'll change your mind.
you're right when you say our thinking shouldn't be that fragile, and i've already said this, you have to be certain of your point, but at the same time be prepared to accept when you're wrong. And that's exactly what i was and still am learning, and what a lot of people still are learning. so how is that a bad thing?
you can't expect a 15 year old (as me, then) to fully know what he's talking about. you can't just shut them up because they don't have the same experience/knowledge/wisdom as you do because you're older. Making mistakes is the best teacher.
Man, if the guy is good in music, doesn't matter the band he plays. We are talking about punk rock, the bands of this genre are better than another ones.
no coment sem pank navzdy ja sem z vatim spival v budeovicich a byla to pecka pral bych to kazdymu je to neco skveliho proste se my splnil sen a neni vnic krasnesiho nes si zaspivatb stakovim velkym pankacem pankaci mam vas vsechny rad beruto obecne protoze sme jedna rodina tak pa
I got to see them for free in Nighttown Rotterdam. A friend of mine works there so he hooked me up. I don't know if they'll perform again soon. I know the band kinda split up and Wattie lives in Spijkenisse Holland
it does happen to everyone, it's called the process of learning. I'm not scared of making mistakes. I make a mistake and learn from it. i'll be as loud as i want about something, too. And it's not like i plan to change my mind about it. But if my statement can be proven wrong then i'll accept that and learn from it. i'm learning to see things a different way by making mistakes.
At our young age (as i'm still only 17, but i've said that) we can afford to make these mistakes in discussions, as you get older you can afford it less and less. So why shouldn't we take advantage of that and learn as much as we can now so that we CAN be sure of our statements in the future, and have the experience then.
they just got better, listen to the songs, they didnt change record deals either, they just got better equipment and learned how to play with ore talent, still a punk band in my eyes with hard riffs.
perhaps you're right either way i made that statement over a year ago and don't agree with it anymore either, really. It's better to stick with a good thing and keep it alive, strengthen it. If we keep starting new subcultures the media will keep commercialising and then it's just an never ending chase. rather, i think we should just find new ways to keep the spirit of punk alive.
Warehouse Club - 1979. Watty and Fat Ted smashed up the whole set...including the ceiling! ...bouncers stepped in to try and bring order...ambulances were phoned. Blood everywhere. Crowd backed-up the band. Mass brawl. Fuckin' A. Exploited were THE #1 punk-rock band. Anyone got a problem with that? Outside NOW. - H.C.666
yeah, but only for a little while. He's the guy on the left (most of the time), long hair, with the exploited top that has a red mohawk. I think people just called him Arf. hes the one the vid keeps showing at the awesome guitar solo :D why cant I play guitar like him
In a discussion you enter, nomatter what subject, you have to be certain of your points, but you also have to be prepared to change your views when yours have been proven wrong.
i didn't go into the discussion without fully believing what i said myself, back then. You just don't always find the truth right away, you can't possibly see things from all different perspectives right from the start. You start with a certain bias, your previous experiences for example.
Nothing wrong with learning. The point was at that point of time in your life you had declared 'punks dead' and now you're realizing in ways it is not, anyone has the right to say anything and believe what they want, I don't believe punk will ever die, only self righteous people believe that. My point was if you declare it then stick with it the rest of your life otherwise just keep it to yourself until you have a full understanding of whatever issue it will be.
Such a sweet and peaceful song about the truly beautiful things in life.
he does it all guitar-bass-drums and vocals he writes all the songs! most of them

Beat the Bastards is much more metal sounding then any of their previous works.
I admit it sounds like metal, but trust me this is real punk. Punk is a way of life, not just music. I know Wattie lives in Holland now, and he made a Hardcore House album with a friend. House is not punk, but if you hear that album you'll change your mind.

Great band!
in many ways it really is dead, but in other ways it's still around. And as long as it is we have to keep it alive and fight the system where we can.

we need to start something new, something that can't be commercialised easily
Not all of us are war mongering idiots...but I under your sentiment, and feel similar quite often.

love this shit!
Punks are certainly not dead in Greece!

Well maybe not full but a better understanding for most then. We may never be completely sure of anything as a whole.
I agree with you, but Wattie did wear swastikas at one point and he got beat up in Spain because of that.
i agree
Уотти так держать!
