Stereo in/out; 140 mins recording time; 121 Drum patterns (11 genres with 11 patterns each); Time Stretch for half or double time while maintaining pitch; 14 preset slots with 10 mins recording time each; import and export audio with free edit GUI; external control facility; tap tempo; use drum machine or looper independently or together; built in loop-to-drum justification. There's not much the Groove Loop x2 can't do. It's a simple and highly functional ride that should inspire creativity rather than confound it. I like it!
For this video I ran the guitar (Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas Style 2-7) to my Axe-FX III which had: Tone Bender to '59 Bassman model to Chorus to Delay to Reverb. The Groove Loop x2 was last in the signal path so I could chop and change tones within the Axe on the fly. Logic Pro X did the tracking. That's it.
Holy moley! Now, I regret having bought a simple looper. I think what impressed me most was the quality of the sound after changing the tempo... you might expect to hear artifacts or a chipmunk effect, but no... it sounded pristine. Incredible. Great demo, Brett.

Thanks for your demo Brett, looks like a really good looper, for me the a great new feature is the timestretch when wanting to speed up or slow down tempo without any pitch change, that for me is a really handy feature. Cheers

Brett, this is the best video tutorial for this pedal. The manual is crap and my virus software blocks the Mooer editing software because the developer can’t be authenticated.

How is it in bypass mode? Does it color the sound at all? The manual doesn't mention true bypass.

Hi Brett, did you use a pedal to make the guitar sound a bass guitar or are you using a baritone guitar?

Unable to get an answer anywhere so will try here. while performing with this one can you switch between loops seamlessly without a hiccup for say like an A/B (verse chorus) situation with a controller footswitch? so far looks like this one has a leg up on the donner circle looper with its ability to send drums to a seperate output and the auto start feature. hanks in advance

I can see that there is also an external input for footswitch control... Does anyone know what you can do with an external footswitch ? What does it do, what other options or possibilities does it provide ? And does it work with just any external footswitch, or does it have to be a specific one (maybe from the brand) ?

Konečně jsem si dokázal vybrat konkrétní Drum Looper. Nechápu proč se nikdo nezabýval kvalitnější nahrávkou v souvislosti se zvukem. I když ten Looper chci pro domácí práce, nesnesl bych hnusný a uječený zvuky s obrovským množstvím šumu v něm. Jenom bych se chtěl zeptat na to jakým způsobem vložím do jednotlivých stop více druhů tempa s případnými pauzami? Jde to pomocí editace z již uložených presetů v něm a nebo tu stopu musím udělat nejdřív v pc například přes Cuhase a až potom jí vložím do toho Looperu? Nechci si kupovat Looper který umí přehrávat interní smyčky kde je pouze a maximálně 8 taktů,které se mi celé 4 minuty opakují do zbláznění. Jistě že na nahrání nějakého letmého nápadu to určitě stačí, ale když bych chtěl vytvořit celou skladbu s různorodými bicími, je nutné mnohem víc než 4/4 takt v délce 8 taktů., Děkuji za pomoc a hlavně děkuji za pěknou práci jak s krabičkou, tak ale i s kytarou a zvukem. Does it have a special blink to indicate the start of the loop cycle? Th Boss and others do it, and it's a nice feature to have -- sometimes a person can get lost in the pattern and come in at the wrong point in the repetition.

Anyone know how to delete/overwrite saved tracks through the pedal itself? Or do you have to connect it to a computer to do so?

I just bought this pedal but I can't seem to end a song without being abrupt by pressing the stop button. I don't see how this can be used in a live setting. How do you end a song either by fading or slowing down the tempo?

I have been wanting a Boss rc-10 for a fair while now, it keeps getting put on the backburner. This maybe a better priced alternative? A quick online search gathers zero results. So, figure this must be a pre-release demo.
I guess what's hard to know here is what many of the drum tracks sound like and how the sound quality is overall when layering tracks. Brett just always sounds excellent. 😊

Just checked distributors page - not on there yet, which doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't landed (site just not updated), but likely not quite ready in terms of getting them out to the retailers.

Or they are already available for sale on AliExpress and you can get one including shipping for about £110 it would take 10-14days to be delivered.

I see the price at $173 (Aus) most advertised, a few just over $200 (not many) & 1(only) over $300.
That's really interesting as the original on average costs more out here. So, I suspect the new version will cost a bit under $300.
At roughly 40% less via aliexpress, I can definitely see the attraction. That's a substantial discount. 😎
Oh and I assume by the look of average shpping times allowing about 3 weeks would be fair!

Brett, Can you plug the Mooer Preamp directly into the input of my ampli as a distortion pedal?
You could - it won't hurt it - but it won't sound much good either. You'd be better off going into the return of your amp's FX loop if you have one.
Octaver pedal or just the way that low B sounds to get that nice Bass sound at the beginning of that video mate ?

I bought an open box unit and slot #1 had an audio file in it. I trird to delete the file using downloaded manual from Mooer but can't seem to get it to delete.

Gonna have to sell my Beat Buddy and Ditto Looper and get one of these. I never use them because I can’t get them to sync. What good is having a looper if I can’t sync with drums? Apparently midi-sync is required to achieve that. I assume this Mooer pedal has midi-sync? I wonder if it can be synced with keyboard, a DAW, and other midi devices.
If anyone knows how I could make my existing pedals work together please do share.

Great demo, playing and pedal. I’m torn between this and the Digitech SDrum pedal. I have a Beatbuddy but find it requires too much tinkering with for on the fly playing.
The SDrum is unique in that you create your own beats and it automatically fills in the details. Anyone try both pedals? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

SDrum appeared AMAZING to me, but I’m not a drummer and I felt that I was spending far too much time tweaking and ‘playing’ the drums using it
It is super powerful but I appreciate pedals like this one much better- far simpler to use- which is a strong pro for me and obviously can be a con to other people
