We are sad that this Target has shut it doors back in 2016... We miss the store dearly, but in 2019 a scam storage unit place had moved in this spot unfortunately.. we did not want Extra Space moving into this spot because it was inappropriate for it. All of the vacant properties in Springfield they could've choose and they choose this location.. I really wanted this to become Target again or at least like another department store or a entertainment place like Dave and Busters, not a scam storage unit....

Update: This Target is now a Extra Space Storage.
Cool! A Target near me closed a while back and they completely covered the entrance, even the indentation in the building
This Target closed back in 2016. They still have the neon up before they closed.

Optopolis yeah it was and I’m kinda sad it closed, but it was in a bad spot. It was far away from the other stores.
