What kind of crepe paper are you using? When I started coloring the pedals and sepals, the paper stretched out horribly.
I have used double sided crepe paper also called doublette crepe paper.

You have to keep the flowers away from sunlight or any strong light if you want to keep them for longer time. I use double sided crepe paper and it's colour lasts for a long time.

Hi Sithara, good to hear from you. This is double crepe paper also known as duplex or doublette or German crepe paper. It has 2 sheets of crepe paper joined together which makes it stronger and more stretchable. It is available online also on amazon and etsy. Hope this helps. Have a great weekend.

You could try using it, just don't use water. I think it might work for the dots.
