In the fourth episode of "Kinds of Unbelief," Duane Sheriff teaches that there are different kinds of unbelief and each has its cure. The most critical form of unbelief is the rejection of Jesus. The Holy Spirit's primary role is to convict the world of this sin of unbelief.
Examining a little deeper, we see that believing in Jesus is not just about avoiding condemnation but embracing the light He brings into our lives. This light represents the revelation and understanding of Jesus and what He accomplished through His death and resurrection. The parallel between light and darkness is a powerful metaphor for our spiritual journey. I never knew blaspheming the Holy Spirit was rejecting Jesus , thank you
It's not.
This is the blasphemy of Holy Spirit. Claiming driving out demons is done by other demons(beezlebul).
Mark 3:22, 29-30 NIV
[22] And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”
[29] but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” [30] He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”
Also found in Matthew 12 and Luke 11.
There is only one thing that is unforgiven. And that is rejecting Jesus. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is rejecting Jesus. Think about it. The Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God are 3 in 1. The trinity. Rejecting the Holy Spirit is rejecting Jesus.
Reading one or two verses doesnt always explain clearly. Thats why you should read the other book that are referenced to the other scripture, so you would understand what it truly means.
Thats why in that same verse it goes on to say it is unforgiven and are guilty of eternal sin. Eternal sin is rejecting the Holy Spirit which is the only thing that would condemn people to hell.
