I am totally following your journey along side you for this new artist for me. He's amazing. I cannot get enough!!! Who needs exercise equipment when you have Tommy singing, right!!!!
Tommy is a supernice guy. I went to high school with him, and I did hang around with him and some friends that had a band back then called ReinXeed while they were rehearsing and fooling around. He was a real musical genius back then already. Cheers from the north (of Sweden)!
Now look at this. YOU LADY have shown ME a new artist that I absolutely love to pieces. Thank you! This guy just gives me chills up and down my spine in a good way! Love it!
Tommy is a force of nature. And you, dear Debbie - this metal world have really opened your eyes for some world class musicians and singers - that speaks to your heart, mind and spine. This is why your channel are exploding - your happiness are so inspiring - and it makes us, your followers, happy 😊
Hi queen, if you wat to get to know Tommy's main band Sabaton...well it is not his band, that would be Majestica, but if you want to hear Sabaton start with a live video en livstid I krig live in Gothenburg. If that doesn't blow you away I don't know what will. Put subtitles on because it is in swedish and the words are important This is one of my most favourite Tommy covers....he starts of so emotional he is breaking my heart almost. Please check out his cover of who wants to live forever by Queen. He dedicated it to Queen Elizabeth II when she passed. Makes me cry all the time
So glad to see your discovery and experience of Tommy Johansson, a true child of the 80’s. I discovered his Utube channel after I discovered his band, Sabaton. His covers are next level and I always enjoy his delightful sense of humor that shines through. He is adorable and will make your heart race 🤟🤟🤟
I ve just watch your reaction to Tommy it was fabulous this song and its lyrics are obviously directed at the ladies well I'm a 74 years old man and I like to think I'm definitely in touch with my female side and love anyone who can sing and put so much emotion into their performance what an incredible voice this man has got I was practically in tears loved every second of this shame you paused so much but I do understand why I will definitely be buying this and any others he's done hope you got your breath back
You just had multiple eargasms. We could see it in your beautiful eyes and expressions. I saw him play live in Nashville before he left Sabaton. But I had no idea he could sing like that. 🥰🙏
loving watching you experience Tommy like this.... i watch them in the morning to make me smile to start the day! there are a lot of other ones to hear, and many people have already suggested some. but i want to add one here that is criminally under-reacted to (even by people who have watched LOTS of his covers): "Eagle Fly Free", a cover of old school power metal band. Tommy simply kills it, and just make sure you are sitting down for the end of the song... :)
This was the very first Tommy Johansson (cover) song I heard. I immediately subscribed to his channel and watched (almost) every one of his videos...I still have a few older ones to catch up on. He's an amazingly talented singer and musician. You should also check out the original version of this song. The singer from Steelheart, Miljenko Matijevic, has an amazing voice. He is now 58 years old and still sounds great! And the band is still going, with him being the only remaining original member (the band formed in 1989). With this video, I have finally caught up with your reactions...been working so much lately that it's been hard to keep up. I'm ready for the next batch...bring 'em on! Cheers!
Wow. The original is one of my all time favorites. Millenko does a great job. But this from Tommy - OMG, I can't get over how good his vocals and guitar are. I could listen & watch Tommy every day and all day. Pretty much doing that now for the past 4 weeks. 😮❤
Remember you said he had that imma bad boy face? No wonder he has to sing this song. Way better singer than Prince but as talented on instrumental aptitude. That is one of the best male vocalists I've ever heard for metal or rock. Usually they are gritty coarse.
I think we maybe need Tommy once a day. You don't need to know the song, you just need to know Tommy. Lol.🤣❤ His voice is unequaled as far as I'm concerned. That little break was fantastic!! Just FYI he has his own band Majestica you might want to check it out. And I believe it's Yo haan sen.
She's gone, Oh boy what a great song again. He has something special, his voice is PHENOMENAL, and I love it. What a sense of humor this guy has? And a damn good voice too! Yes Yo- hahn-son. Remember in Europe most languages pronounce J's as Y's and don't usually use the a as in cat. It is more like ah. Just like Floor Yahn-sen. Not Yan-sen.
You should find the original from Steelheart. Miljenko Matijevic has an unmatched voice and was nearly killed on stage when a stage lighting tower fell on him. He survived and came back to full form because he's still releasing quality music. When you hear Miljenko's voice you'll know that Tommy absolutely nailed this cover, every part of it.
Actually, after the accident, he can't hit the high notes like he did before. At least from the most current videos I've seen of him trying to sing it.
This song has that emotional theme to it, that makes you feel emotional, I can't remember the reaction I had exactly, blown away as usual, bravo Tommy 👏❤️😽🔥😍
Please don't let Tommy be the death of you because your channel and reactions are far too precious. You have to agree he is an absolute gem. The journey from NIghtwish to Floor then Floor to Hannes then Hannes to Sabaton then Sabaton to Tommy should be travelled by everyone!
Haha.. loved to see you getting cought off guard with the high notes.. These are crazy high in this song. You pronounced his name Johansen wich is more common in Norway, Try to split the word with "Johans" and "on" ( On like in On /Off) and it will sound more like how we say it in Sweden.. (but you should say it as 1 word not split apart, but i think you got that.. :)) Cheers
Listen to the origina by Steelheart this came out in the early 90's they were one of those bands that got signed to late for that particular "scene" thanks to grunge. But the singers voice is amazing. Tommy kept the music and the vocal range very close to the original
you should check out more songs by him as she released a song every day before Christmas in December but also songs by Sabaton with Disney music. He also knows Floor and helps with some of her own recordings but also is his interpretation of the Phantom of the Opera (supposed to be a duet but he does it himself)
Tommy sings on Swedish goes Metal which is a lot of great 80’s songs with a metal touch up can you imagine Metal ABBA but they are great. They are on my playlist so hear them often
Might I say you were made for reactions, great personality and so much fun. As for headphones, they would be of no benefit for me as deaf in one ear and want to keep the other in cottonwool. Hopeful for a while yet. ❤️🤘🎸🎻🇦🇺
Yep, Tommy is also the altimate comedian as well ! this is all very entertaining, but you should really explore his own brilliant band Majestica ! & also next Christmas, really enjoy their majestic & brilliant Christmas albums !! you will not be disappointed !!!
Always look forward to your reactions to Tommy and you certainly didn't let me down. Hopefully you will check out his performances with Sabaton and his own band Majestica (formerly Reinxeed). Whilst I'm on here can I also suggest you give a listen to another a cappella group Home Free as I see you like Pentatonix. Personally I find Pentatonix overworked but that is just my opinion. I'm sure you have had Home Free suggested to you 1.3 zillion times but I didn't think that one more would hurt. Btw, for goodness sake keep breathing as it is always a pleasure to see your lovely smiling face. Take care. x
Too bad you just discovered him. He actually released a Christmas tune every day from the 1st until the 24th of december. We in Sweden celebrate Christmas on the 24th
Every little bit, your bad girl comes out and it's adorable. You're so funny! I would forgive that voice too. As long as he sang to me like that every day. I'm jealous of his girlfriend. (who does the editing of these videos). THANKS!!
I soo feel happy when i see your reactions to "our" Tommy. You bring so much joy through the screen😄 To take care of your health, i would suggest some bad cover from Tommy....but there isn`t any. All are bangers!!! But now when you have heard his amazing power voice.......i would suggest " Emerald" (Thin Lizzy) so you get more of his incredible guitarplaying 🎸 Hugs from Sweden
This song is goosebump inducing like you wont belive it! Eargasm... For a COMPLETLY different Tommy Johansson: try the equaly good, but very different song 'Tell no Tales'! You will fall off your chair of chock! Dare you try it? 🥴
Great reaction! 🤘 You'll see that sneaky smile and his sense of humour in a lot of his videos. He actually made Disney versions of Sabaton songs. I do recommend you to react to the original versions by Sabaton first. That make the Disney versions even more hilarious! 😄 Check out Swedish Pagans" and "Primo Victoria". Next I recommend one of the songs that show his guitar playing skills, as well as singing: Over The Hills And Far Away by Gary Moore (Nightwish covered it too) and Emerald by Thin Lizzy

@Bridget McCracken Floor Jansen, her vocals were softer more seductive. Tommy was pure power and with passion. However, what we decide they are both elite vocalists and songwriters Floor does play guitar and piano. Nowhere near Tommy's abilities.
If you would like to pronounce Johansson like a Swede, the J is pronounced like a Y, the h is silent and the last o is O not E. (If you say SEN it sounds Norwegian or Danish). Also the emphazis is on the first O and not on the A, and said like the O in tomb. So all toghether its something like yOanson.
Need to check out the original by Steelheart And how Tommy is singing this song its very close to the original I remember when the song first came out I was 20yrs old then that was years ago
Something is in the water in the Scandinavian countries, another great cover artist from Norway is Leo Moracchioli. His cover of Africa is awesome. His channel is called frog leap studios.
I was going to suggest this one but was slightly concerned that last chorus might cause a medical emergency 😬. His range is crazy, especially considering his normal speaking voice is fairly low.
Very Very good excellent voice and range ! But once you've heard the original done by Milijenko Matijevic you will hear all the missing elements mostly the emotion and how it's properly sung . Tommy has a hell of a voice and can definitely hit the notes but that's not all that's involved in delivering this sone like Matijevic ! Kudo's Tommy awesome job !

Now lets wait until she discovers Leo Moracchioli, hehe. Debbie, I don't know if you are ready for him yet. He has a lot in common with Tommy, being a fun and very likeable multi-musician doing covers in his very own (more heavy) style. He's from Norway (what is it with those nordic countries). If you like Dire Straits, try his cover of Sultans of Swing for starters, or if you are an Adele fan, you could go for "Hello".
I am totally following your journey along side you for this new artist for me. He's amazing. I cannot get enough!!! Who needs exercise equipment when you have Tommy singing, right!!!!

Yes!
How cant you dont heard SHEs gone?
Now lets wait until she discovers Leo Moracchioli, hehe.
Debbie, I don't know if you are ready for him yet. He has a lot in common with Tommy, being a fun and very likeable multi-musician doing covers in his very own (more heavy) style. He's from Norway (what is it with those nordic countries).
If you like Dire Straits, try his cover of Sultans of Swing for starters, or if you are an Adele fan, you could go for "Hello".
