This kind of style is very helpful. I suggest that you should make more videos for speaking practice so we can have time to repeat after you. Thank you very much for your great job. I appreciate you guys.
Thanks Kat and Mark, great phrases!!!. I didn´t know the ´'Thaw out' verb for defrost, so it was a great new pick. Thanks a lot! Kat you hair looks amazing today! Nothing to do with todays vocabulary, but it's a kindly feedback. I can tell nothing on Mark's hair, however both of you are great looking, great english teachers. Blessings.
Thank you very much dear Mr Mark and Ms Kat .most important lesson for our day to day conversation. I love your videos and you both and wish you all happiness.
Mark's funny expressions while Kat speaks is the best part of the video 😂 Taking advantage, could you explain in the next video the sound of "to" in I'm trying to cut down? couldn't hear.
Very funny Mark’s examples make me laugh too 😝 I’m trying t’ cut down. Very light on the t’ sound! You often hear I’m trynna cut down in spoken English, hope that helps!
I'm at a loss for words and I can't thank you enough my great teachers. My English skills have been improving since I found this wonderful channel. I have a question here. What's the difference between Cool down and Cool off? Or do they have the same meaning?
Thank you so so much! We're so happy to hear that!! Thanks for all of your hard work! to cool down and to cool off are very similar yes! we can use them both for bringing the temperature down and also when someone is angry or upset and they need to cool down or cool off.
Hi Kat and Mark! Thank you so much for this amazing video with summary of all useful phrasal verbs used in the kitchen! I’m your true fan ❤️ I love all you are doing. Looking forward for more content 😊
Oh, for sure I learned some things new. I didn't know the phrases to dish up or boil over, for example; both great, by the way. That's why I never get tired of you guys ❤. You're amazing 🤩 🎉
Hello, Kat and Mark! Could you please make a video on some phrases that i can use with my toddler. For instance, stay put, stop fidgeting, sth along these lines. ❤❤❤
Hi Ken good morning! How are you doing today 😍 hope you enjoyed the class and you’re enjoying the summer so far! Thanks so much for your generous contribution to High Level Listening!
Hi, Kat and Mark😊 Thank you guys for another excellent video! Great to know all the meaning and usage of phrasl verbs in a sentence. You guys are absolutely amazing!
I appreciate your help ,Your videos really helpful❤❤ I memorize the phrasal verbs and my listening, reading, writing improves But my speaking skill didn't, when I watch TOEFL test videos , i really struggle with speaking, my brain stops and i take a lot of time to say a word and my words are messy. I am trying to solve this problem by Watch a story and tell it 😢 but I don't sure it will help me when I am in the test Sorry to annoy you 😢
You're not annoying us at all! Don't worry it's completely normal that most students feel much more comfortable in listening, reading and writing before they feel more comfortable in speaking. It takes way more practice mimicking, repeating and saying the words out loud to get the same speaking skills as your other skills. Keep practicing and moving forward, speaking out loud for more time day by day!
while Mark is speaking English, I would like to watch British movies. What is your recommendation British movie while learning English? Thanks both of you
Some very popular (and clear) English films would be some classic rom-coms, like: Love Actually, Notting Hill. If you like comedy, some of my favourite British comedies are Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead!
Good question. We use "the" to mean a specific one. Because we're cooking in the kitchen we say: "[the] garlic." : "[the] chicken]" : [the] onions" etc, because we mean the specific ones that we have in our fridge, in our home, or on the table in front of us. We also need "the" because it's a specific amount required by a recipe. We need a specific amount of ingredients, (500grams, 1 kilo etc.) and "the" also specifies the exact amount required for the dish. Hope that makes sense!
You explained well about pharesal very cut down on. This lesson is very helpful for me.if you explain at the end a quick recap it would be more helpful

Thanks for being here with us again!
Why did you use article the after preposition like “up the onion and garlic”? Is it rule? Thanks
@@highlevellistening great explanation, you are both the best👏👏👏

You explained well about pharesal very cut down on. This lesson is very helpful for me.if you explain at the end a quick recap it would be more helpful
Interesting idea - we might include it in future videos!
Could I say "mix the eggs in with the flour and milk"? Or it has to be "mix in the eggs with the flour and milk"?
Great question - the answer is yes!
You can say:
"Mix [the eggs] in with ..."
"Mix in [the eggs] with..." 😊
@@highlevellisteningThank you so much for responding to my comment and clarify things! It really helped me feel more confident when using it.
Cut down- decrease
Correct!
Hello ,Kat and Mark ,you are very beautiful ❤❤❤ and cleaver🥰
Thank you! 🤗 that is so kind!
Let's dig in while it is still warm.😂
don't let it get cold!!
What about if I say ,The milk is spoiled
Yes! The milk went off/has gone off
The milk is spoiled, no one likes spoiled milk 😩
