My 03 Torch Red 10th has some gap with Eibach 540 - 850 in the rear and Steeda sports in the front 660 lbs per, but I live in NYC to many pot holes raised manhole cover, cracks, and rough roads to ride too low. Still have stock rims never get rid off them, you cant find them anywhere.
Would a drop like this require CC plates? Have the HR race springs and X2's ready for install but trying to figure out the rest of the stuff I might need.
Dude, your Termi looks great. My first '99 Rio Red Cobra suffered hit & run by a ricer in a 350Z, pushed me into on-coming traffic. I was fine, but my Red Ridinghood was totaled. Got another one just like it, but only 36k miles on the clock. Starting to build it. This will be my second set of H&R Red Race springs with Koni single adjustable front & rear. Makes for a great ride. Will install Stange coilovers a little later. One word of advice: the next time you remove your calipers, do not let them hang by the brake line - tie 'em up with a coat hanger or something. And replace them with braided brake lines. Keep up the good work. Our Snakes are becoming extinct.
Very nice man I'm excited for you! And thanks ok the heads up. I actually zip tie mine up going foward just to be safe. Also my car already has the stainless steel brake lines too thankfully.
Just got into a Term and found your video! Ordered some H&R racing springs the other day and I'm glad I came across this one. Would not have thought to remove / not use the isolators. Drop looks awesome as well! Will work perfectly for my IL crappy streets! Hope you got a chance to order the CCWs, if you still have the car :).
Congratulations 🙌🏻 yes thankfully I still have the car. I hope to get the ccw wheels one day but there's a few other things I'd like to do before. It's never ending with these cars lol. Welcome to the terminator community! 💪🏻
@@loscar5oh thanks buddy! Glad to be here! Been wanting one for some time and these prices had me going crazy! Finally pulled a trigger tho. Looking into getting some CCWs as well :)
@@da_aviator1316 im glad you went ahead and got one. The prices are getting high for sure. Many people think its due to inflation, but these cars are an exception as they are low production cars and unfortunately there are less and less as years go by. So prices will most likley continue going up. What color did you get? Coupe or vert?
That stance is great that's what I'm looking for with mine. Currently its too low with the coil over set up and its for road course racing anyway so the ride sucks. I did buy new springs but I got the H&R Sports. The drop between the race and the sports is the same from what the description said, just a slight difference in how they ride. Once the shocks / struts that I want come in I'll be doing an entire suspension overhaul. I did not consider doing the spacers but those look really good. I'll most likely keep the iso's in for the rear because I'm on 18's as it is and my dream wheel set up is on 18's as well.
Awesome man! Yea I was thinking about bc racing coulovers but I was aware the ride quality would be worse versus my current setup. I feel this is a great setup for street use as well as taking it out on a road course as well. Its comfortable but tight when needed. Plus the konis allow for rebound adjustments. Sports looks great and even though they call for the same drop amount as race springs, ive noticed sports sit slightly lower. Keeping in at least one isolator will definitely looks like my current setup. Cant wait to see how your build turns out!
Wow those are big rear spacers! See how the old lugs stick out? Does that hit the wheel?? On my old diesel trucks you would have to cut them depending what size spacer you run. I like those rear tires.
@@loscar5oh I think that's the myth on SN95 chassis.Been running no ISOs, no tape on coils for 10yrs, no squeaks, rattles, silent on smooth/normal surfaces, hits harder on sharp bumps, but expected. Heck the 95R removed ISOs from the factory. And you get the extra 1/8" drop for free.
BEAUTIFUL COBRA MAN I LOVE HOW IT SITS LOL I HAVE A 04 TORCH RED ALSO WITH CRAZY LOW MILES AND IAM TORN DO I LEAVE IT ORIGINAL AND SELL IT IN A FEW YEARS FOR A LOT OF MONEY OR LOWER THE CAR AND JUST MOD THE EXHAUST LOL WITH JUST DOING THAT IT WOULDN'T BE A HARD JOB TOO RETURN IT TO STOCK.
Great job champ. Respect for doing that on your own. Car looks amazing !
Thanks boss🙏🏻

Yes I'd definitely recommend you get some caster camber plates as the suspension geometry changes.
Chalino Blasting in the Bavk ground! Yeah buddy!🤜🏼🤛🏼
Haha yes sir! 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Looks great I have a Torch Red 10th Anniversary myself. Love it.
Thank you! Torch red was the color I had to get 💪🏻

@@chrisj865 see minute 4:00 from the video. Thats how I did it and it worked great. Hopefully that helps!

Lol doing the math and everything on paper 😁, that’s my man!
I'm a technical kind of person 😎
hows the ride difference after removing front isolators ..have same springs debating to take out isos
I personally didn't notice a difference
@@loscar5oh did u use gorilla hd tape or gorilla all weather tape?
@SVT gotti I used gorilla tape, but I've heard that it doesn't make a difference if one uses tape or not so I'm sure 🤔
Which camber plates you use?
I have maximum motorsports caster/camber plates
Did you use the spacers with the x2 ball joints?
