In December 2018, former First Lady Michelle Obama addressed 250 students at Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School in North London about empowerment through education and the important role of self-belief in achieving your goals. Her 2009 visit to the school was a key inspiration for her focus on education. Mrs Obama was in conversation with alumni from the school to mark the publication of her memoir, Becoming.

Ms. FLOTUS 44. You may, understandably, doubt my sincerity when I say YOU are the most remarkable, inspiring, and highest respected woman in the world as I view it. Please excuse me as I pull the entire shoe store from my mouth. I obviously have many regrets and owe numerous people my deepest apologies. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, patience, and time to make their statements without being rudely interrupted. All humanitarian speakers deserve this simple respect. However, a woman who has worked as hard as you have. Who has committed so many years educating yourself....... dedicated years of service, guided by your heart, moral compass, and passion to impact lives with the sole intention to help them understand and reach their greatest human potential................... A woman such as this deserves our best..... respect, patience, and understanding. We are lucky to get to hear thoughts and ideas. The world is a much better place because of you. I love and miss your family being in the White House. Thank you!

Rinzin Dolkar Agreed...... I can’t imagine the positive impact I could have made in my life had I traveled and had the Obama’s as role models 30+ years ago. Love and respect your neighbors and don’t allow yourself to be affected by the barriers and adversity that others place in your paths.

I went to fashion industries and the great thing they did the partner with designers and fashion companies to visit all the 11/12 graders. This was how I found out about Parsons school of design a private college for the elite, my teacher told me don’t apply you have to be rich and I applied and was 1 of 2 blacks that attended. Don’t let no one put a limit on you. Dream Big

This is lovely and inspiring! Michelle Obama is loved. She is such a bright light and she radiates grace, grit and gravitas. She is honest, trustworthy, soulful, maternal and very warm. I want to meet her and show show her my unseen brain scans since I came out of my coma at Level 1 to help America with brain science. I was at WH with Chuck Close for the Obama’s Art and Humanity. I have in many ways made arts and humanity for Biden and Harris. I admire Michelle and hope to have the opportunity to meet her in person.

UC Berkeley was my child’s dream college for a girl who always dreamt of becoming a lawyer since childhood and was a top student but UC Berkley some of her A s were curved down and she got burnt out
From the uk we have always grown up with how black people are so hard done with...white people are we have grown up with the stigma of not being wealthy wearing the best clothes but never have our poor kids been racist...or wonder how the signs in the uk said no blacks no Irish...I am Irish...how many tv programs talk about how bad all immigrants were treated....all hearts are an investment all girls all boys above or beyond need to be treated with guidance not through colour or race ...don’t talk about ground sweepings make a change for us and all
