I am preparing for my test tomorrow on WMA and IHD. After watching your videos multiple times with your precise explanations of the segments and arteries, I am confident and ready for tomorrow!!! Thank you so very much!!!
I have been practicing echocardiography on the side of my education in internal medicine for 2-3 years. I think these videos are very informative and shows great initiative. I learned a lot from them. Thank you veru much for taking the time to educate ! Greetings from Denmark.
EM doc here do a lot of POCUS SO what im taking is to first zoom out and look for any segments getting pulled along by others, so to speak. then to look carefully through each piece of the wall and look for akinesis, followed by the same for any thickening of the myocardium. any bit that isnt thickening or is thinning and bulging warrants attention. lastly look at the diameter of the ventricle to see if it is decreasing symmetrically to reflect normal movement, and if it is staying the same look more closely for a/hypokintic segments. last step look at surrounding structures, valves, tamponade, fat pad, etc. sound more or less right for a simple old er doc with a US?
Thank you Dr., it was very helpful. With watching these videos our eyes can get used to differentiate the abnormalities and of course with your best explanation.
Binge watching the master. Thank you for the real life quality images and clear teaching Dr. Seyed! Thanks for the wisdom too. Living life. Rick
