Hi, i have the same shavette and to be honnest it gave me great shaves. The trick is to getting use to it and watch the coners of the blade. I clean my blade often and i watch the angle of the blade, of course the blade you put in is also a factor but whit the right tech you will get great results. An other thing that i found that shavette is hefty so i don't use presure i just let the blade glide. By the way nice video. Gino
WOW a shavette shave, brave man! A straight/shavette is yet nothing for me, too dangerous, but maybe sometime somewhere, who knows... Good video, thanks Danny!
Another great video Danny. I must admit that I was feeling a bit nervous watching it, as the shavette looked very sharp and slightly dangerous. I can tell that you have the patience and calm to deal with it. I have a Turkish shavette but I put it to my face and was scared to use it, as yet. The best of luck with Holland and the game tonight. I am going to find something orange to wear today lol.
Nice video, Dan. I just purchased the Feather Artist Club Straight razor in black, one with the Japanese handle and one with the traditional handle. Both perform great. Have you tried the Feather ? Cheers Claus from Denmark
Hi Dan Nice Shave. I'm in California I found a store that has vergulde hand and vergulde hand extra fris soaps. Out of the two which one would you recommend ?? How is the slickness of the soap ? Thanks, David
