Taeyang is an OG in kpop so that’s probably why it feels like the old kpop. BIGBANG, the group he was in, was heavily influenced by hip-hop and r&b and helped to bring that culture to mainstream kpop 💜
Bro Taeyang is an OG in kpop industry. He’s like the R&B KING of korea. BIGBANG his group basically popularised hiphop and r&b in kpop scene. They debuted in 2006. KPOP is not even mainstream at that time and they are heavily inspired by hiphop culture but their discography is very wide and not limited in their hiphop and r&b roots. They can do different genres.

The entire Down to earth album by Taeyang is fantastic . Every song is amazing . Shoong showcase his dancing skill too . Taeyang actualy was a major influence on dancing in Korea . He is the bias of many dancers . BigBang was the reason Lisa went to Korea and Taeyang was there the day she audition to YG .

When Lisa does her part - I can see me singing along, using the words to remind my sweetie part of why he's in my life. 😉 Letting him know I still find him attractive (he needs to hear that). Then, when Taeyang does his last major vocal part, 🤭 knowing my sweetie, he's leaning into me, staring me in the face singing along and trying not to laugh and steal a kiss at the same time.

what I love about this collab of Taeyang, Lisa with YGX and other dancers such as Noze and other 2 dancers are their chemistry. there is no overshadowing happens, unlike other some dancers stood out the most or the singer stood out the most or the feature one who stood out the most.
