Great job on the colors and decorations for George’s room. A perfect little boy’s room. Oh, when Violet tires of her pacifier she’ll ditch it. Right now it’s a source of comfort.

Leave people kids alone if there is a problem I’m confident they will take care of their own kids
Some people are just trying to help. Paci’s if used 24/7 can affect speech and teeth development. I think it’s her having it all the time that is bothering most. If she won’t sleep without it then just give it to her at bedtime. Or taking it away completely might actually help her sleep better!

That turned out great! I hope mom enjoys her new pet.
We had our little one visit her grandparents house last year after Christmas when she was 19 months and because she was in a new environment and was constantly busy to the point of exhaustion from all the activities they did with her…they were able to take her off the pacifier the entire time and she seldom asked for it. When she came home a week later she never mentioned it or hinted at it. I don’t know if she fussed for while she was there because they probably didn’t tell me but it probably was the best thing for her.
She probably would’ve been on it until she was 20 yo if it was up to me. Her teeth were pretty jacked up because of it but now she’s 2 (28 months) and her teeth are so beautiful and perfect. They bounced back in maybe 2/3months

Pacifier is absolutely fine. My daughter Jessi sucked her thumb until she was 5 and has perfect teeth. Also tell George he is amazing and I live on a sailboat 😊. James is beautiful. You are teaching your children amazing things. God bless you.
I sucked my thumb until I was 12!! I have perfect teeth. When YOU GUY'S feel it's time to get rid of it cut a hole off the tip of the soother or bottle. It will not feel the same so they will reject it!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
George's new room is GREAT!!! Maybe a little crown molding around the ceiling? To sort of "ground" the room .... the other thing that grounds and "finishes" a room is a nice, large area rug (6'X9'?) partially under the bed. I'll bet you could find one with the green color and a couple of whatever "accent" colors you are using ....
Yup ... that's right ... I'm someone who likes to come and see all the work you did and suggest a little more!!!! Heehee.....
As for pacifiers ... I don't really remember any kind of dramatic or traumatic action in our house ... I think what happened was that when they got lost, we just never replaced them and sort of "lost" them on purpose now and then. It was just getting used not not having them that worked.

If you want your little one to have their pacifier until they go to kindergarten, that’s your decision. My daughter was done with hers shortly after she was 1. I can’t imagine her having an almost conversation with a binky in her mouth. But that’s your decision, you are her parents and no one knows her better than you do 🥰 not to mention that this is your third kid, so it’s not your first rodeo, obviously lol!

I agree with Ashley. My daughter is now 32, and she would still have her pacifier if my mom hadn't taken it away when she went to visit for a week. The pacifier never bothered me as much as it bothered other people.

We named our Roborock…. Roberta…. Cuz she’s a Robot 😂 some other contenders were Robert, Robo Pattinson, Roberto. LOL
I remember when my eldest was 2 and she still had her dummy (you call them pacifiers). She was talking heaps and it was gross the slobber coming out around it. I told her that when she speaks she has to pull it out. That was the beginning of getting rid of it. I wouldn't listen to her if she tried talking to me with it in her mouth. Then soon after I told her she is a big girl now and that she can only have it at night time. We did that for a few months then we decided she's big enough to not have it. I did before this start removing it from her mouth while she slept. These gradual changes helped in getting rid of the horrible things. My youngest daughter wasn't allowed to have one. I wasn't dealing with that again.
