Pure class. Fans loved Bob. He had a hall of fame career in the South. I really enjoyed hearing Bob talk about being strict with his sons. Old school beliefs and toughness. RIP Bullet!
RIP Mr Bob Armstrong! Thank you sir for all the great memories of your career in pro wrestling! You may be gone sir but you will never be forgotten! Prayers for his family!
Bullet and Piper, well this was 15 years ago. That made me do a "real" Check. Piper has been gone too for almost a decade. I'm Pipers age when he died. I need to reassess things. When you are under 18 all you want is to be older. then you spend the rest of your life wish to be younger!
i remember bob winning a battle royal at the atlanta auditorium in the 60s and he won a convertible caddilack and the old world champion i cant think of his name right now came out with a baseball bat and beat that car all to pieces they had it sitting up on a thing 20 feet from the wring and bob and him got to fighting and they went up into the top of the place and fought all over that building beore about 30guys got them separated ----it was harley race with the bat i never will forget that night .............bob worked at a fire department right next to my elementary school back in those days and my mo worked at kennestone hospitol and met him a few times man those were the days
In my twenties I was a powerlifter at about 265 lbs . There was this guy from WCW used to come into my place of work that wanted me to give the Power Plant a try . But they wanted me down to 225 ....I thought what 225 pound wrestler is so special ? So I never did go to the Power Plant . From what I hear , I would not have passed their regimen . I would have been standing on my tongue in minutes . So what Bob said about dropping weight rings true with me .
Was he aware that it was supposed to be a shoot interview? I grew up watching the Bullet and even got the chance to meet him years later. He was one of my favorite wrestlers, but I stopped watching this interview shortly after it began when I realized he was still going to Kafabe the whole thing.
See your sarcasm about his sons having a great career I think what a lot of people don't understand is that because all the guys aren't used on top inside the business doesn't mean you're not making good money and doing what you love. the Armstrong family most of them worked continuously sometime in their own territory most of you guys that don't know their legacy only saw them on TBS or some of the other promotions where they would be used to give a good match but often put the other guy over but trust me inside the business they are one of the most respected and talented family in the whole industry which is why bullet was honored by the WWE Hall of Fame even though he never wrestle for Vincent McMahon so put some respect on the Armstrong's name they have earned it!!!!
Bless old Bob he held on to the Kafabe RIP Marine
What's especially great here is that old-school Bob is keeping up the kayfabe! Most retired wrestlers when interviewed just drop it.
I was thinking the same thing... protecting the business...
Agreed… love how he said his first tag matches with his sons would end in DQ because he’d lose his temper 😆

Bob was one of those rare guys that appealed to both male and female fans .
Had the privilege of getting to see Bullet Bob Armstrong wrestle many times in Knoxville, TN at the Coliseum.
Me too
That man was my childhood hero, southeastern him and the Fullers that was still my favorite wrestling always
Brad was the best Wrestler of the family. Great Worker

Love these interviews … help me gain a great respect for guys that were slightly before my time.
Dang right out the gate he mentions Brad which tells you how old this is. Brad died years before Bullet. A parent should never have to bury a child.

When i first got into wrestling brad was on Georgia wrestling and bob came in to help him out.great wrestling family
I never knew Ted Dibiase had any involvement in Bobs weightlifting accident .
Bob was staying in Kayfabe.
That’s one tough son of a gun right there.

I used to sell Bob weed. Very kind man.
Does anyone know what happened in the Bahamas, that Bob didn't want to talk about?
His friend was murdered
@@jamie-gy6bd oh ok. Thanks. Was his friend a wrestler?

I wondered that myself, he said he disnt want to talk about that when asked and made me curious as well as to what happened.
Dory Jr was a marathon style wrestler .
I liked bob armstrong a lot.
sorry I never met him.......
Give me kayfabe or give me death

" I am just not dumb ...." Doesn't that ring true ?
I think his sons did ok in wrestling as well 🤔🤣🤣

A kayfabe interview. Lol
Kayfabing during a shoot interview negates the very word of shoot.
Don't text
weirdo
He maintained Kfabe the whole interview … me and Dory wrestled to a draw, I didn’t beat him and he didn’t beat me “” dude it’s SCRIPTED
You would think the old fool could have dropped the kayfabe i couldn't finish listening
