What's especially great here is that old-school Bob is keeping up the kayfabe! Most retired wrestlers when interviewed just drop it.

Pure class. Fans loved Bob. He had a hall of fame career in the South. I really enjoyed hearing Bob talk about being strict with his sons. Old school beliefs and toughness. RIP Bullet!

Dang right out the gate he mentions Brad which tells you how old this is. Brad died years before Bullet. A parent should never have to bury a child.

Bullet and Piper, well this was 15 years ago. That made me do a "real" Check. Piper has been gone too for almost a decade. I'm Pipers age when he died. I need to reassess things. When you are under 18 all you want is to be older. then you spend the rest of your life wish to be younger!

In my twenties I was a powerlifter at about 265 lbs . There was this guy from WCW used to come into my place of work that wanted me to give the Power Plant a try . But they wanted me down to 225 ....I thought what 225 pound wrestler is so special ? So I never did go to the Power Plant . From what I hear , I would not have passed their regimen . I would have been standing on my tongue in minutes . So what Bob said about dropping weight rings true with me .

Was he aware that it was supposed to be a shoot interview? I grew up watching the Bullet and even got the chance to meet him years later. He was one of my favorite wrestlers, but I stopped watching this interview shortly after it began when I realized he was still going to Kafabe the whole thing.

See your sarcasm about his sons having a great career I think what a lot of people don't understand is that because all the guys aren't used on top inside the business doesn't mean you're not making good money and doing what you love. the Armstrong family most of them worked continuously sometime in their own territory most of you guys that don't know their legacy only saw them on TBS or some of the other promotions where they would be used to give a good match but often put the other guy over but trust me inside the business they are one of the most respected and talented family in the whole industry which is why bullet was honored by the WWE Hall of Fame even though he never wrestle for Vincent McMahon so put some respect on the Armstrong's name they have earned it!!!!
