Dearest Nneka, I'm happy you're putting this out here because we had a worse experience the last time we visited an orphanage (name withheld), but somewhere around Durumi years ago, we visited same orphanage, then in a different location, for my same daughter's birthday and got a better treatment. But the last time we were there, while prayers were ongoing, one of the kids (supposedly sent by mummy) came to whisper something to me (a request), which I found a bit disturbing. I say this here because, I want to believe some of them may be running these homes at the expense of the innocent kids, but in their own (selfish) interests, which is really sad!!! But in all, and like you rightly said, we do these things for God and not for a show.
You have done what is in your heart led by God so commit them into Gods hands because they don’t know that it’s the way you welcome people that will make them come back for more. When you are good to people no matter their level, the good will definitely come back in different way❤❤❤❤
It's the entitlement for me from this orphanage homes 😏 my hubby his friends have experienced their cold and rude attitude. In this economy, May God bless you both ❤
There was a time we went to give them clothes and shoes they said they dont want that they wanted only money,ac, contribution for the bus they want to buy, they didn't even say food oo Do you know we had to take the clothes back it was so annoying, i was like nawaooo naso una dey do for here
If you had made your donation to Yahweh children's ministry in Uganda, the orphanage of 50 children aged 2yrs to teenage years would have been jumping up and down in gratitude. They pray before they eat and they thank profusely whoever sends them donations and they pray for the donor. Their apathy towards your donation will not impede God blessing you for your donation.
What happens in this orphanage homes is that, the kids in the orphanage homes gets to see the items donated to them, but what they can’t tell you is that these items will not be given to them to use, so they just look unhappy.
Very true , sometimes they give them all those stuff like ipad just when visitor's are around or when they are expecting visitor's. Once the guest leaves they collect everything from them.

You people should have gone with cooked food and sat down and ate with them, those kind of things, will make them a little more friendly; even party pack sef. You went to visit young children that like presents like other children… And you show up with camera, in Nigeria people are showing up with camera and it’s going on UA-cam…. You said they have iPads, if you don’t show up with raw food items, someone else will, so…
Doesn’t matter what she shows up with they should still be grateful . Me as I am now even if someone gives me a sweet am grateful . Regardless . She said they gave money as well . Maybe that was off line .
