How Different is it to Switch Between Jewelry Metals?

Love the videos.
No one ever mentions stainless steel. How does it apply to stainless steel jump rings going on stainless steel jewelry like Bezels and rings?

Some jewelry mechanisms have steel springs inside ( like a lobster clasp) but handmade jewelry made of stainless steel isn’t something I have seen a lot of in a jewelry studio. You can look up Bette Barnett, she works in steel a lot.
