  • Matt Palmer playes Lagrima by Francisco Tarrega. This was recorded in the world famous studios of Larry Bell in Taos New Mexico. Played on a Torres "La Leona" copy guitar made by Michael Thames. See my website under "Guitars available now".

Beautifully played. A fantastic sounding guitar too. I used to play my son to sleep with that piece. I called it “The Sad Boy Song”

Hi Daniel, the guitar Matt is playing is a Copy of the Torres "La Leona". It has cypress back and sides (like the original) as well as pegs (Pegheds) also make them with tuning machines. The original was later converted to tuners. The bridge design is very unique and as close to the original as possible. 650 scale, and french polished thought. Hope that answered a few questions. Oh, and it has a trornavoz.
I have a very nice very slightly used "La Leona" available on my website.
