Ryan Thomas-Thank you, I had to re-sub idk why...i have ALLOT of issues with UA-cam notifications, comments and subs sorry Bro all fixed SUBBED up thank you for your support and VERY SORRY
Ok, can someone please explain to me why people use the sound generators on these models when they always sound like a bad mp3 being played on some dollar store headphones? My first guess would have been increased realism but it comes across as being as real as Chinese plastic jewelry on a princess dress outfit for 5 year old girls. This would have been fine when I was 8 years old but the trucks I see these sound systems on do not look like they are made for that age bracket. I can only assume there must be something I am missing. If you have any insight please reply to this as I am genuinely interested in gaining some better understanding. I am open to the idea that I need to take more council from my inner child but it just seems like a stark contrast when compared to the level of detail and craftsmanship that is present in these models.
I assume the speakers are just too small and weak to produce a high quality low rumbling like the real engine. If you'd use stronger speakers the battery consumption would significantly decrease drive time
That Mammoth is sweet. Is it the 38-turn motor available from Cross? How long is the run time and with what size battery? I'm the owner of King Midas 6x6(if you Google Images). Been looking at 8x8's for awhile. The RC4WD 8x8 was the one I was looking at - now there's the Mammoth.
It's a brushless combo from Robitronic (21.5T + Speedstar brushless crawler esc). I use a 4500mAh 2S lipo for more than 2 hours, but the battery was never empty :)
H.D.movies Thank you. 21.5 Brushless is a torquay set-up. I had a 21.5 Novak Goat system. It worked great till it burned-up. How well has everything held up? Break anything? Weaknesses?
The chassis including steering, suspension is great and was made of steel / aluminum. Many space in the body for electronic components. No problems until yet and our travels are only in a hard terrain. Weaknesses? ...I need a trailer. 😎

@@ns2358 That could definitely be part of the reason for the bad sound. But that still does not answer my question.
Very nice! Where did you get the crane on the 8x8?
The crane is from "Bruder 02824 MACK" with some light modifications :)
Looks great. Thank you!
