At this point in the story, she cheated, she lied, she manipulated. He loved her, so much he let her go. She left to be with the other man. The other man turned out to be nothing as he sold himself to be. Her pride wouldn't allow her to go back, wouldn't allow her to go apologize, wouldn't allow her to repent for all the pain and destruction for the lies and manipulation had caused. Her ex never dated anyone. He just kept living. Kept working. Kept fighting. But in the end he died. To be honest what she did... The affair...the lies... They ultimately killed him. He fought until his will to live was gone. He was alone. He missed his friend. He missed the mother of his children, he missed his wife... One day she had enough. The other man was a liar, he was abusive, he was a cheat. As she was about to leave her ex's best friend informed her that her ex had nearly died. He is hospitalized. Broken heart syndrome. In the moment her world came crashing down. She knew she had killed him. She knew she had broken his heart. She knew he was the one who really loved her. She knew she had made a terrible mistake. She wept. She prayed. She repented. She asked God to roll back time. To give her another chance. To save his life. To restore their marriage, to roll back and wipe away all the hurt and pain she had done to him and her children. But God didn't turn back time... Instead he breathed life back into her ex. He woke up in the hospital. She lay at his side. Her make-up nearly gone, washed down her cheeks. She wakes up and sees he is awake. She immediately weeps and hugs him. He weakly wraps his arms around her. She apologizes for everything, she cries fervently through it all, she repents of all she has done. He says I forgive you... I love you. She say's Still? After everything I have done? He raises his left hand, still wearing the wedding ring she gave him. He replies, ALWAYS...
