Ref. Electric trucks . One of our NHS 18T rigids on test has gone back to DAF "for the foreseeable future! ". Kept loosing charge with no warning. New Tech is not quite ready for day to day yet.
Cheers Scott for driving down the M56 at the start. I knew there were roadworks close to the bridge crossing the motorway (Runcorn and Preston Brook). Not been down that way for a while because of those roadworks. Need to go to Cheshire Oaks🤣. I live close to Manchester end. Just watching the narrow lane and up hill drive. Good news is that this is where you could do real damage to the trailer, and totally trash it. And I would not take my Kuga pulling a caravan up that hill. No way🤣. Anyway Scott, just like to say, I totally agree with the beautiful views, and a great bit of driving.
Awesome vlog buddy hope you are well.want them roads a bit narrow I don't no how you managed to get round awesome work from a top driver take care and good luck for the future phil.
I've never ever been this deep into Wales before. I am parked up for the night by stradey Park business park in Llanelli waiting to tip in the morning. I was inside the gates but security asked me to park off site
Excellent video Scott! I sound surprised I’m not they are always excellent especially on a good day and what’s today a good day!! Great content, great scenery, great Scania oh and great driver! 😂Keep up the good work and keep safe! 😀🚛
Some great driving down those country lanes Scott. Even taking a car down those lanes could be very difficult. That was a really big branch that came down in those lanes. Thanks for another great video. Stay safe and take care.
Hopefully those roadworks will be finished soon M1/J33 and with an extra lane queueing will be a thing of the past there. Our Sheffield depot is just a minute in front of you at 27.00. I remember that video with the MAN losing power, bloody hell have I been watching for that long? Very impressed with taking that tall trailer up that narrow lane, brilliant stuff. As you say power of the MAN is one of it's strong points along with comfort, but reliability not so much. All the best Scott.
Hi Scott, yes I remember that Dolgellau drop in limp mode 😂 our 8 legger hookloader took down a branch a couple of weeks ago just as he was coming into the yard, it's still lying by the entrance now🙄😂 have a good week and hope you don't run out of time getting back next Friday
Thank you Scott Another of your videos Enjoyed I would be very Nervous Driving on them county lanes Can I say nice Hear do with out the Hat Don’t see you much of you with no hat Thanks again. Take care and Stay safe and safe Trucking.
Been down some of them roads some years ago in a VW lt van, they were quite tight then I can recall. Sausage skin tight in your truck though!!!! Keep up the good contents Scott were all loving it.🚛🤯.
Sheffield parkway is a lot of "fun" at the moment and it being backed up that far is pretty common, in fact I've known it backed all the way to the city on a real bad day. And please don't call Rotherham and Sheffield same area - that's how you lose viewers 🤣🤣
Is your back killing you driving that Scandinavian Bedford yet Scott? Never could get comfy in those motors, the seats always seemed offset from the steering wheel and they all had the same problem 🤷♂️
We're those roof sheets you delivered to Sheffield from euroclad in cardiff? And was the truck in front of you when pulled in a kelsan transport truck?
Awful trailers them old Green Group ones. I Hated the stupid tall things when I was there. The curtains are stiff and cumbersome, Even the buckles weren’t great and kept loosening down the road.
I like it when Scott puts down the window on hills and we get to listen to the V8 working 12:58

Just started watching your videos enjoying them. Abbie from Coventry.
I once worked for a Mexican carpet fitter. 'Speedy', they called him, always rushing. He kept shouting 'underlay, underlay' Great video 🙂
Great video Scott. Love the sound of v8 working hard down tight lanes. Thanks for the shoutout 👍

are the trailer hookups the same as the American trucks? like air hose and lights?
Whats happened to the tom tom sat nav mate ??
Is your back killing you driving that Scandinavian Bedford yet Scott? Never could get comfy in those motors, the seats always seemed offset from the steering wheel and they all had the same problem 🤷♂️
New ones are much comfier
Never thought I see you in a scania v8 as your the daf champion
No more DAF's in our fleet
Lol 😆 you mentioned me again 🤣 😂 long week eh?
Always is 😂
i own one of those trailers, ex "the green group" one at 4.8m. it's just a pain in the 455 due to low bridges, i'll sell it soon 🤣
I'm not a fan of it either haha. I can see why boss bought it but not quite a good fit for us
@@ScottAndrews 4.42m is perfect, 2.9 internal 👌🏻
@@perlamiseriaccia sadly we need more than that for the pallets. 4.6 is absolute minimum
We're those roof sheets you delivered to Sheffield from euroclad in cardiff? And was the truck in front of you when pulled in a kelsan transport truck?
From Cardiff yes
@@ScottAndrews nice they are what I regularly have one. Got some on today on the extended trailer. Trailer extended to 17m
Awful trailers them old Green Group ones. I Hated the stupid tall things when I was there. The curtains are stiff and cumbersome, Even the buckles weren’t great and kept loosening down the road.
Great video Scott, just wondering why the curtain sider, did you do other work that required it?
Yeah some of the pallets we transport need to be kept dry
@@ScottAndrews Now that makes sense. 😀
I don't reckon any electric truck will make it to some of the places you take us, and certainly not with some of the weights you haul . . .
Might makit it in. But not out maybe? Haha
What truck nav you using Scott?
lol droping a #2
👍👍
