- Normally, I start a new season with a lot of thrills and fanfare. It was the plan to do the same for Season 5. But, once I sat in the chair and asked the question, "here we are in Season 5, how do you feel?" I answered honestly. And my friend, Ruth La'Ontra helped me further articulate my message. 17 is a very difficult age. Hang in there and consider keeping a journal to track your thoughts and look back on your growth/progress/how you weathered storms. Blessings to you, I hope things turn around for you

At my lowest point, I started watching Terrell. And from that day to this one, he pulled me out of a place I didn't think I could recover from. He was my friend, my laughter, and peace when I needed it. He brought me even closer to God, and this video spoke to me personally. With every dark moment I had in my life God was my friend and who I could talk to through it all. So, I thank God and Terrell for blessing me the way they have❤❤

I know for me personally when I was in my days and completely down I would turn on terrell for a laugh just to see him being his bubbly self and tell myself if Terrell can be happy then why are you here feeling down
I was literally "okay" until she got to "what a friend we have..." and the tears started streaming down my face. And then I realized it was like I was holding my breath the entire time, and not exhaling. Wheeeeeew. When it dawns on you that you've made it through every single thing thus far, that you were SURE would take you out... it leaves you speechless. It hits differently.
Same for me. When she hit what a friend we have in Jesus the tears started falling. 🙌

I was so unhappy in my masters as well. I dropped out the second week of my second semester. God has been putting it on my heart to choose my personal happiness over people pleasing. I’m trusting this next chapter is going to be a testimony later ❤️

I recently I applied back to school and was in the process of waiting to be accepted and it was so important for me to get my education but there was so many roadblocks and i watched this video this morning just not really knowing that I needed encouragement, after finishing I thought to myself that I was just gonna give trust to God. When you said “Tis So Sweet” my heart dropped because that was the song that was always on my heart during my dark times. I almost took my life, but God intervened. I remember after not taking my life I Just started singing this song, crying remembering that all I have to do is Trust In Jesus and rest on his promise…. Thank you for sharing this. I pray that it truly touches and changes someone life. 💕

I couldn't even get through Tis So Sweet. I'm sitting at work with tears rolling down my face and dealing with a lot. As soon as she began to sing I was reminded of when I was in a battered woman's shelter and I went inside the chapel. There was a hymn book on the pew. I picked it up and it fell open to this song and I began to sing through my hurt, my struggles not knowing where I would go when I left the shelter...God came through in incredible ways for me. This is a reminder that He will do that and much more. Thank you so much for sharing Terrell, you touch more lives than you realize!!!

10 years ago I was battling breast cancer. I beat it while watching my mom lose her battle. I was hurt and angry but I just kept saying to myself and to others God picks his strongest soilder to go through the storm. Stay blessed Terrell

I lost my oldest son to Cancer in December of 2020... Then my dad, February of 2021. I swear I know what you mean by not being in your greatest space. I still have two children to care for. I have my days.. But, they are my world, My absolute everything! God has kept me, thus far! I am so grateful for his beautiful blessings! We got this!

This hits hard bc it makes you think of all the people who ended their lives and how much may have been on the other side. The devil will deceive and lie to us. We can’t let him. You speak directly to him and let God be our strength. We cannot depend on ourselves to get through. And I know it’s not always easy to depend on God. But y’all, please try.
I needed this message and this performance because I felt so defeated earlier today. I now realize certain things happened because God wants me to put my trust in him. Thanks 🙏🏾

Thank you so much. I feel lost right now. I'm going through postpartum depression after giving birth a few weeks ago, baby in Nicu, 2 admits to the hospital and my incision opening up on me. I'm in pain everyday and my husband it's trying to help but doesn't understand 😔 I am praying over and over hoping to feel something other than this sadness and trust GOD to bring me through it. Terrell, you look absolutely fantastic. I am loving your hair too.😃 In hindsight, you see that God was letting you experience your choices, learn from them, make you strong and, find your purpose within. I'm sure that it was a tough journey, but look, you made it through. Those were hard trials no doubt. The veil had to fall off in order for you to see who really had your back. The good news is...even though you were tested and went through trials and tribulations....you were safe and protected and made whole. The wonderful part is that you no longer have to carry the weight. God has removed it off of your shoulders and out of your life.(smile) Congratulations 🎊 You have worked hard on yourself and the Terrell show. And you deserve the very best. I’m so glad you started this season this way, I’ve been having so many highs and lows in my life, not knowing purpose or if I’m good enough, I keep getting blessings and then I get hit again with pain, but watching you talk made me realize it’s in his plan and design. And hopefully I’ll be on your show one day, if it’s in his plan!
