    God helped me to understand His love through Romans 5 and then He used it to get me out of Calvinism. I thought "This God of love is not the same god of “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated" (as explained by Calvinists). I could not reconcile their god with our God who pours out His love on His enemies.
    Tears for your situation with your Mom 💔 I was the scapegoat of my (as of yet) unsaved family. I am blessed to have you as a brother and am waiting for the fullness of our adoption with our Heavenly Family! Excited to meet everyone ❤️

      Actually, you're misunderstanding. That chapter is not about salvation. It's about how God uses vessels in time to work. All things together for good to those who are going to inherit. It is a continuation of the discussion in Romans 8 to show that even negative things like Pharaoh's, hardness and Israel's hardness are used for the good of his people and for the accomplishing of his purpose in time. It has nothing to do with eternal salvation. The calvinists s who for the most part are all millennial and allegorize. All the scriptures have no nuance in their understanding and can't separate between what God does in eternity and what God does in time. They confuse election and predestination and misapply the terms.

    • @davidbenjamininchrist
      @davidbenjamininchrist  3 місяці тому +1

      There's actually no such thing as a vessel predestined to wrath. Predestination is in one category. An election is in another. Vessels of wrath are endured for the sake of the elect. But they weren't created to be vessels of wrath in the sense of God, predestinating them to such a thing and then imagining beforehand the evil that they would carry out, assigning them to it, making them do it, and then punishing them for eternity. No, he tolerates them offers them the gospel, but they hardened themselves and at certain times that hardness was even strengthened by God in the moment not unto eternal salvation, although it does contribute to their destruction, but for the purpose of showing his glory on vessels of mercy. There's the word created and there's the word made. Created is when God creates something out of nothing that did not exist and whatever he created was good, including all the men that were in Adam when he created. Adam. He did not create some of them evil. But making is when he shapes something out of something that already exists. That's an important distinction. Another important distinction is the word hate. We think of it in terms of our human flesh, but when God hates someone when it comes to the birthright or the election, it means to not consider

    Ok! I'm about 10 minutes into this and at this point want to express that I just saw the cross of Christ in a whole new light, where it's a look into heaven: even into the New City Jerusalem where the lines of blood pouring out front His body is the rivers of the water of Life poring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb, and as the Head of our Savior is likened unto The Father sitting up on His throne looking down in complete satisfaction, great joy and love at everything He alone produced and created and brought into completion by the sacrifice of Himself, as He receives in return, full His inheritance, and in the Spirit we see Jesus standing in the midst of the golden candlesticks with His arms wide open, as the Spirit of God the Father in Christ bodily looking on us with love, which is seen clearly and brightly as the flame of fire His eyes give off, and the best thing is we can handle it just fine because all of this is spiritually seen through the veil which He tore open by His death on the cross and brought us into in His resurrection. His blood pouring out is the life of God flowing as the rivers of the water of Life from the heavenly throne of the Father and the Son, down into the midst of the Holy city, overflowing with joy and satisfaction, and perfect holiness and righteousness and in one word this is the LOVE of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us. The Spirit, the water, and the blood all agreeing in one AS one bearing witness on earth to the life of God we have recieved, in us as we look to Him, the bronze serpent on the pole, and yet the risen and ascended glorified Christ shining in our hearts as the brightness of God's glory and the expression of God's Person, being God Himself, and overflowing with joy in us! This is what glorifying in heart rather than in appearance superficially looks like, as opposed to those who make a fair show in the flesh of outward glorying and yet don't rejoice in heart, and yet for many of us you wouldn't see much glorying outwardly but yet the amount of rejoicing and fullness of glory that's shining in the hidden man of our heart would perhaps be too bright and amazing to behold if you're yet veiled and can't look beyond the flesh and carnality of your human sin nature.
    Perhaps this is way out there but I just felt I should paise this video and express the sense I was happening as best as I can based on what's being revealed of Christ to me in the Word by His Spirit working in me and brother David as I'm hearing the Spirit speak and express and point to and testify of Jesus Christ through this brother.
    I pray this encourages someone and that what I'm saying is well recieved

    LOL. So true! 😂
    They do get mad when you explain verses in their context of chapter and book. It knocks the wind out of their sails and they start throwing wild accusations and attacking your character or "tone".
    Several times now, I have attempted to help people see that when 1 John says we cannot sin, it's talking about a specific sin. The book tells you what the sin is! It's not a secret or a mystery but they WILL NOT HEAR. One guy I used to respect on Facebook even said, "I know where you got that idea from" and started railing against you. I said, No, it's right there in the Bible. The proceeding chapter talks about the sin of Cain. The book is about recognizing your brothers in Christ by their testimony of Christ. You can read it for yourself. It got ugly and I blocked him. I no longer tolerate unteachable Scriptures twisters. For them that passage is all about "your regenerated Spirit doesn't sin." No shit Sherlock. 😂🙄

    I believe The testimony of God concerning his son. I believe. Sometimes tho i get a fear that im missing something that Jesus said or desires from me or that hes mad etc. But i know thats a doubt and i go and try to rest in him. I just try to rest more but sometimes my mind keeps anoying me. I was also traumatized by many street preachers and what they said, already from young age. And now even tho im out of that doctrine there is some kind of damage in me that even when i try my best to rest in him and be calm i just waver without even wanting it. And the lack of ability to feel always assured regarding salvation makes me feel like im not even resting and trusting in him, which gives me more doubts and thoughts. Im just sick of my mind, its not a good place to be in

      Hi there. I feel for you. Had so much of that myself In the past. It drove me mad that I walked away. It lasted about 4 years and only in the last 3 months have I come alive again in the Lord.
      Fear not. He will never leave thee nor forsake you. It's his promise.
      Remember Thomas. Doubting Thomas.
      The Lord said to him, Thomas you have seen and believed but BLESSED are they who have not seen and believe. That's you n me.
      I also remember John the baptist.. Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. That's you n me. But notice while John is in prison the Lord goes to him and John asks are you the one or do we look for another. Even he after bold ministry is doubting.
      Just know you are forever kept and shall never perish.
      He didn't go through all that at the cross for us to be forever wondering am I ok.
      He did it bcuz he loves us. While we were yet sinners Christ Jesus died for us. He said I came to save Sinners.
      So it's alright. Take him at his word. God bless

I’ve searched my whole life for truth, and in more ways than one I never found peace you have untwisted scriptures that I have struggled with, but that I have also learned from other preachers that in the end made the word of God contradict, so I never had peace God has you right where he needs you and you have been an amazing blessing in my walk with God I see scripture. Quite the opposite of what you have described here.

    Hi, I was wondering how you explain Psalm 119 if you say that the law is not a means to live the Christian life, would you say David didn't use the best method?

    • @davidbenjamininchrist
      @davidbenjamininchrist  4 місяці тому +5

      David was not a Christian. A Christian didn't exist until after the resurrection of Christ. After the resurrection of Christ. We've been baptized into Christ and have put him on and have his spirit and his life. If you believe the gospel. We have a whole new set of instructions because there is a whole new set of realities available to us. David was under but knew that it could not justify him individually. He was justified by faith. But under the law in the flesh apart from Christ and apart from knowing how to live Christ, your only option is to try to be a moral man and fail and repent and try again. But in the Old Testament they hoped for the day when the Savior would come and deliver them from their sins. Joe, when Jesus came that's why Simeon in the temple and Elizabeth and Mary and others said this is the one who will save us from our sins . Theresons kept them from knowing god directly represented by the vaill in the temple that separated The holiest where God dwelled and everybody else outside. But when Christ was risen after he paid the price for our sins, he established peace in himself between God and us and made us one and join us to his spirit and gave us the sprit of the son crying Abba Father and now we have access with boldness and are presented without spot to God. And even though we have our flesh and our sin in the flesh we can come forward without an offering. And directly access God and experience washing and renewal in his presence. But if you do not believe this and you try to live by law, then you have no idea what I'm talking about. As long as you believe that the law is the way to live before God, you will not have that kind of enjoyment. You will just live a life like David did. Trying and repenting trying and repenting repenting mourning over your sins which Hebrews calls sin consciousness. It doesn't mean you're not saved. It just means you will be miserable. Now. A lot of people actually think that this is virtuous and call it. Humility. Which is absolutely pathetic considering what's available to us, but it comes out of ignorance and unbelief and it's also why they're angry. And go around laying charges at the feet of saints and accuse them of not being saved or accuse them of just looking for a license to sin. It's The only way they can have this whole thing be bearable is at least in their groveling over their sins. They have the right in their mind to call it a virtue and judge everybody else. But David didn't do that. People who really lived under law and hoped for the Messiah would have rebuked thoroughly. Anyone who having what we have tried to live like they did.
