The penetrating spray you're looking for is called "Torq CB" sir. It's distributed by Kimball just like that other spray you have and comes in the same red black and white aerosol can. It has a really unique smell so as soon as you said that I knew what you were talking about.
I like this dude, down and dirty, there to keep the heaps rolling. Tools have gotten abused in the Cam style beat down so you love to see that too. Load this man up with some Sierra Nevada pale ales and I bet he would make some good videos.
This is just like my bosses truck, full to the brim every drawer every cabinet, all the tools are "work hardened" you can tell this guy is no frills getting shit DONE!!! thanks 👍 from Australia
So different than what I used to... everything provided to the man. Cool! This was better than the last few vids. Thx for sharing. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
Rest in peace to your late wife awesome that you carry her memory with you everywhere. I don't know you from Adam but I thought the bobble head was the best part of the truck
So is none of the tools actually yours ? Like if you lose this job, “I know sounds silly in the world we live in” but if you lose your job. What do you have to start somewhere else. Or on your own? Do you have to find someone else with a full truck to let you use? I’m actually wondering as well. Not trying to be rude.
The company I work for fills the service truck, I have a box at the shop that's mine. Haven't seen many places doing it though. Works good for them because I'm maintaining their fleet so if somebody needs a specialty tool out on site I just say it's in the truck and I don't have to worry about it, I'll just restock the truck at the shop when I return.
Also depends on where you live sometimes. I have a service van for excavator/loader repairs and all the tools are bought by the company. Which is the standard here.
@@Jwar86 That is wild really weird and i bet uncommon . I worked in one shop were they had one box 2 mechanics the one guy did about nothing but service and i did the major jobs. I didnt like it the best because i was used to having my own tools about every thing i needed or buying what i didnt have . They didnt have a lot of stuff just enough to get buy. I dont mechanic full time now but i would really have to think about using a truck with some one else tools . I can understand some stuff but hand tools is another deal.
The red spray can you are looking for is called “Torque CB” made by Kimble Midwest. The same brand of can you were looking at in the video. I use this stuff daily and it does have a good smell lol. I’m also a heavy equipment mechanic
I don't know if you're aware but there's a loctite rubber o ring maker kit and variety packs for high temp o rings. Sheets of gasket material is good to keep around and use a small ball peen hammer to tap the shape.
I operate the stuff and have no interest in being a mechanic but love watching the fixing videos.. just like our dads/men used to watch TNT or Spike TV every Saturday and Sunday Morning..
16:32 *HOW MANY PPL KNOW WHAT THAT SKINNY HEAD SLEDGEHAMMER IS FOR....* it is a railroad sledgehammer used to beat in RR spikes, the lgr side is for newbies & thinner is for seasoned vets, newbies tend to snap the head off the handle.
come on down to va I can get you to film with two of my buddies one works for link belt an one works for liebherr an I am a heavy equipment mechanic for a construction company
Where can I get the magnet he showed at 2:47? I inherited one identical to that and it was the greatest thing ever, so of course I lost it and cannot find another one anywhere
Just enrolled into welding courses but I’m starting to feel like I really want to get into this field…. Can anyone help me out with some guidance/direction/resources? I’m also in California near where this was filmed actually lol I know that island anywhere. 😂
Single father widower that grinds it out on the road life. Nothing but the utmost respect

Ya man! Thanks for watching
It’s always interesting to see what other mechanics have for tools and how their trucks are set up. Sick rig. The history is even better
This is just like my bosses truck, full to the brim every drawer every cabinet, all the tools are "work hardened" you can tell this guy is no frills getting shit DONE!!! thanks 👍 from Australia
thanks for watching boss! Yeah Jacob is 100% the guy that gets it done.
Sounds like Aerokroil as the pen oil he mentioned. Doubles as a cologne for a hot date. Great video as usual Tekamo.
thanks bro we appreciate it!
I liked your tour. Trucks with worn chrome on the wrenches, o ring collections, bolt drawers, home made tools are the best!
thanks for watching bill! Hope you've been doing well
Really cool guy. I hope he truly has great success!!!!! He probably has been through a lot and is really inspiring to me.
he is 100% an inspiration. Great guy and a great mechanic too
Yes my cousin deserves all the happiness he has been thru a lot but he’s doing a great job he’s an amazing dad ❤
Nice to change it up and see how the boys down south do it. Great vid boys
The Cali mechanics are an awesome group of people! We want to show off more mechanics from other places! Tekamo world wide 😂
Golf balls make pretty good handles/ knobs in a pinch. Files, rasps, gear shifters ‘n such.

Hell of a great guy got lots of respect for him
Jacob is an amazing guy and an absolute inspiration

@@Jwar86 sweet yeah I was just curious, that makes sense tho. Thanks.
He likely has his own tools, but the truck is already stocked with tools the company knows get the job done
Also depends on where you live sometimes. I have a service van for excavator/loader repairs and all the tools are bought by the company. Which is the standard here.

Liking the service truck videos and the mechanics behind them
more to come! Jacob is a legend and worth following on IG. Link in the description.
The penetrating oil you’re thinking of is most likely kroil. That stuff is the bomb, plus it smells like cherry.
You guys should do a Northern California Ag mechanic. Step into the agricultural side of the industry.
Always open for it if you're down or if you know anyone media@tekamohd.com
Awesome episode. Sorry for your loss dude.
Kimball Midwest sells four-way PTFE. Red can, smells sweet and works better than anything else I've used, swear by it.
Kimball West Oil penetrate is what I think you’re talking about. Smells good, works better.
The spray might be "the torch" by castle. We used to have that stuff to break sxs a arm bolts off and it smelled like a candle shop.
Kroil is the shit! That’s stuff works great!
Agree 100%
It’s amazing that box has been through numerous trucks. Pretty Cool Setup. Thanks for the Videos.

We got more coming!
Definitely kroil, stopped buying cuz the cost lol.
Right! Luckily I charge the customer for em lol
Jake, it would take another 20hrs per week to keep it all perfectly organized. Do what you can when you can.
Torq CB Cherry from Kimball Midwest.
I was so confused by the lack of cursing it made it hard to focus on what he was saying 😂
Cursing is like some sort of filler word, yup sometimes it's useful Lol 😁
We got a batch of brakleen that was lavender scent during Covid
Excellent truck tour and peterbuilt!

Yep that’s it I use it everyday
Just posted that then saw you posted it. Love that stuff
The mats that he is refering to at 9:08 are called P.I.G mats. they are made to soak up just about any disaster.
except water!
@@mileaux yeah, it is better for oils and tranny fluid
Damn! That oring collection is the shit! I love having tons of misc gaskets and orings available for
“Miracle fixes”!!

Why do we work on shit for 12 hrs a day then get on here and watch other people work on shit for a couple of hours. I don’t get it, but we all do it.
I gave it up and now operate the stuff I used to lay under. I still watch stuff like this. It never leaves you.
I operate the stuff and have no interest in being a mechanic but love watching the fixing videos.. just like our dads/men used to watch TNT or Spike TV every Saturday and Sunday Morning..
More Tools and tool storage please and thank you
Speaking of stupid stuff and operator error I found the spout off a DEF jug in a fuel tank this morning 🤣🤣
What are the golf balls for
How about a service call now let's see what you can do

Apply to United rentals, sunbelt rentals or your local heavy equipment rental facility 😊
Kroil oil is the spray he asked about
I really don't like using aerosol stuff. I have a bunch of small glass droppers and put all my chemicals into those.
