Carpenter Frog Video

Carpenter Frogs have a chorus or song that sounds JUST LIKE people hammering nails into wood or a construction site. These amphibians (Lithobates virgatipes) are some of the funniest sounding frogs in New Jersey! If you like herping for frogs and amphibians, these Carpenter frogs are difficult to find, but once you hear them, it is unmistakeable. Seing these frogs is another matter.
