I've always had trouble starting notebooks and not finishing them, then feeling bad about wasting paper. I have one of these Midori Passports and I love being able to switch out inserts as needed. I've started using Apica inserts because they a significantly less expensive and the paper is great.
I have a passport TN that I use the original Midori notebook along with an undated daily planner from Walmart. I like the TN cover because it fits easily into my scrub pocket.
How those Midori Traveler's compare to the Paper Republic regarding the leather quality and fountain pen writing experience? I know those videos are not recent but I had not interest in those Traveler's notebooks before (even though I'm a long time subscriber of your channel). Thanks :)
The Midori leather is thicker, so it really depends what you personally like - thicker or thinner. Fountain pen writing experience is great for both of their proprietary papers. But of course there are many ways to get whichever paper into those, so in the end, you are pretty free here. I even have a video on my channel on how to make your own inserts from whatever paper you may like, in whatever size you may like.
Hey dude, I know a lot of time has passed but i wanted to ask you a few questions if you are ok with it. 1. Are you from Europe by any chance, if you are, how was your experience with ordering from them, and have you ordered directy from their store? 2. Does the notebook with the cover fit in the back pocket for ex. jeans without any problems? If it does, do you need to get it out to sit down or is it durable enough to withstand sitting on it. 3. Are you still using the notebook and how did it hold up 4. Sorry for asking so many questions, so not to be inconsiderate, how are you man?@@Scrivelynotes

A good strategy! I make my own inserts for my travelers notebook: scrively.org/video-workshop-make-fountain-pen-friendly-notebook/

Warum? Ich bin Deutscher. Warum soll ich das verstecken. Sie scheinen mich ja verstanden zu haben.
