Amazing video, very well explained. I am getting my pixel soon and will definitely be installing G os.
Great video enjoyed listeing to it
If one still wanted to use UA-cam & Instagram on GrapheneOS, is it better to just use the website versions on a more secure browser?
you can make a profile just for those apps if you want or yeah use them in the browser
UA-cam has Revanced version that is detached from most google services
look into grayjay by louis rossmans (privacy and consumer rights youtubers) team.
Don't sign in to your UA-cam account. Also use new pipe.
great pod, been willfully ignorant to apple's ecosystem and am making the switch to graphene. Signal is problematic as it's linked to CIA but love the focus on practical privacy
😮
I'm switching to GrapheneOS. Should I wait for the Pixel 9 Pro or snag a Pixel Pro 8?
Edit: Got a PP8
Wait for 9 to snag 8 for a discount?
get a refurbished pixel 8. the quality for the price is unbelivable. you wont profit as much from the new pixel 9 anyway, as its stripped off of the new google AI feauters and camera quality is overall worse on grapheneOS. i bought my pixel 8 (430€, very good condition) this week and first thing i did was install graphene os. gotta get used to it, you can pretty much set it up like a standard phone with all the shitty apps that spy on you, but honestly i recommend to just get use to live without them (as it's just stealing your precious time and data anyway)
@@htcwildfirethebest Yes, I'm going the Pixel 8 Pro route. There will be far less apps. I'm thinking the social apps, I'll just use the web version on a Brave browser or whatever browser comes standard with gOS.
@@utubepunkit really doesnt matter.
Wer dont need and want that AI shit.
"Nothing wrong with the iphone". Lol. You are clueless. Unsubscribed.
I dont think you find these stories in EU, but mostly in USA, China and similar countries. In all EU countries we use another more fair way to show if you are guilty. In USA you have to prove it wasnt you, in EU the police have to prove it was you, and you cant just sit back at relax. They cant just say you was near, so it was you, they have to prove it was you. More fair way, and that is the reason why no one get to jail if they havent commited a crime. It means that some murders go free here, but no one ever go to jail without they actually did a crime. Beside that you can kill a person with a knife and you only have to go to jail for 2½ year, so we dont evet use the USA model with extreme jail time for the smallest crime. And funny enough it is way more safe here, because nobody kill for fun, like in USA. Never had a school shooting in my county.
"Can kill a person with a knife" "and not get an extreme jail term for such a small crime" You are sick.
