@@АлександрСараджев Джордан просто повторила первого исполнителя, а Диана берёт произведение и делает его своим. Она никого ни разу не повторила и, посмею утверждать, ни одной вещи не "запорола". У неё всё лучше предыдущих. Она даже Высоцкого "Кони Привередливые" исполнила прекрасно. Да, Высоцкий - личность. Поэт, исполнитель... Но Диана заставила слушать каждое слово, вникать в них. И получился шедевр! Я услышал его совершенно по иному, чем слышал раньше. И у Дианы это - огромный плюс!!!

Так это , уж точно - не я... ) Диана тем и отличается от всех , что помимо чарующего контральто , обладает способностью , так обыграть и итерпритировать песню , что любая из них , становится самостоятельным произведением. Произведением по мотивам , так сказать. И ,,Кони" - не исключение. Я не особый поклонник Высоцкого , хотя и считаю его глубоким и ярким поэтом. Исполнение этой песни Дианой , на мой взгляд , гораздо пронзительнее и гораздо точнее передает заложенный в неё смысл. Наверное это звучит крамольно. Hi Georgina & Jules, They are both fantastic and both very different styles. Diana and her powerhouse contralto compared to Angelina's soft smooth Jazz. Really they are not comparable.
I don't think if you like the jazz voice, then who can be compared to Angelina. At her age, no one sings and never sang. So it's a matter of taste. For me personally, they are the most unique young voices.

But this also tells that in terms of genre diversification Diana is way more versatile whereas AJ is the queen of that particular genre. I don't like these kinds of comparisons, I don't feel it's fare to the artists. To get a real comparison you'd need a song both are comfortable with done in similar settings with no tech involved and the only outcome would be hurt feelings. That said, Diana is on a whole different level in vocal control, phrasing, range, technique, power and communicating the story. She shouldn't be compared to singers in her own age group regardless of the fact they both started as children, Diana is extraordinary.

Я смотрела и слушала "Злую игру" Дианы сотни раз, поэтому я давно "рабыня" у Богини Дианы, Королевы Мурашек, этой юной девушки, она вложила много эмоций,там много мятущегося,много чего, от чего рвется душа. Я испытываю восторг и восхищение от ее талантливых исполнений...Я люблю Диану и готова слушать каждый день! Анжелину Джордан слышала, я не поклонница, но голос ее очень-очень приятный! That's not what music is about. I know you paid lip service at the intro this not being about who is better. But this is UA-cam. Did you seriously expect anything different? Diana brings more drama into her performance. Angelina relies on subtlety and understatement (in this performance). Both are legitimate approaches. Watch Angelina's covers of I Put a Spell on You and It's a Man's World and you will witness what happens when she goes for the drama herself.
You are clearly an AJ fan so you'll keep on pressing to bring AJ in front and that's FAIR. Perhaps you are more of a jazz/blues fan and you mistake comparing AJ vs Diana over Jazz vs. other genres. How about that?

Диану я каждый день по 100 раз готова слушать. Ее исполнение - шедеврально!!! Анжелину послушала один раз. Да, видение своеобразное. Спето интересно. Но не тянет послушать даже во второй раз.

Disputes about who is better are misplaced. Two super talented girls performed their versions. I have no doubt that the future on the world stage is behind them and everyone will find his listener and the love of millions. They are not in any way competitive. They complement each other. I do not think Diana and Angelina should be compared. Although they are among the best in their art, they are far too different to be compared. It's like asking what's best, knife or fork.

Wholly different interpretations. Both good voices. You let Angelina's video disrupt your listening. Angelina absolutely puts more of the angst of a failed connection into her song. Diana presents much less sorrow. Too much vocal flair for the true meaning of the song. There is a fan made video of Angelina which doesn't get in the way. Images of young, cute Angelina are out of place with the message. Happens. Close your eyes next time. They are sharing different messages and, imo, Angelina is closer to that emotional message. (Btw, i wish you would pronounce Diana's name correctly-- it's *dee aana* not like English *dye ana* even if it looks the same, but that's just my preference)
You captured my perspective perfectly. It’s not necessarily about who is better but about who we connect with better through the performance. I agree that for me, Angelina’s performance is focused solely on capturing the meaning and feeling of that deeply emotional song. I personally found that, for me, Diana’s performance was too dependent on tricks (like suddenly switching to a whisper) that for me detracted from that emotional interpretation. But that could certainly be different from for someone else.
"too much vocal flair" she sings in a vocal competition, what were you expecting? She had to impress the judges and the audience. Also, turning any song into jazz/soul genre would make that effect, it'd amplify the sorrow. That's not completely AJ's doing but it's partially from the genre.

This is a prime example of how a good song can be interpreted in completely different ways and still be brilliant. Angelina is just sitting alone at a piano and playing the simplest of chords. The focus is entirely on her voice. You can feel the anguish in her voice. Diana's professionally produced stage production was operatic, dramatic and ominous in a broad sense, as compared to Angelina's intimate plaint. I love both these performances from two completely different artists
I couldn't agree more....we all have our favorite, but the talent of these two artists is undeniable....Diana was limited ( in time ) by the format of the contest, which makes a true comparison impossible

@@ivelbero Si he visto Diana es excelente en esa canción en particular, más puedo decirte mejor que Angelina en el ranking de canciones 135 que ha subido creo es la menos agraciada. Despues de 8 años de conservatorio y 30 años de músico comprendí muy bien lo que Angelina ha estado haciendo, ella no interpretó a tantas leyendas de la música por casualidad o ppr likes en youtube o fama, es muy muy inteligente. Lo que ha estado haciendo en estos 8 años es absorver colores de todos, como si fuese una pintora artista (como la abuela) y colecciona colores, además de no forzar las cuerdas vocales en su desarrollo (niñez - adolecencia). Obviamente que hay colores que le ha costado como en esta canción. Los fans músicos de Angelina pueden notar como ella pone pinceladas de colores de leyendas en diferentes canciones, muy sutiles. En fin, Diana es extraordinaria y será una mega estrella, Angelina es lo que dice Wikipedia, su biografia en Republic o cualquiera biografia: un prodigio, genio musical, tal vez como la llaman la Mozart femenina
If the majority of Russian-speaking, then they prefer Diana, if English-speaking, then Angelina. It makes me very sad, although I am a Diana fan. Ну в данном сравнении Диана конечно на голову выше. Но сравнивать надо было с исполнением Дианы в гостях у Воробьева. Одинаковые условия! Одинаковая оранжировка. Но и там Диана немножко лучше! I'm from the old school days of old school Gothic, and Alice cooper, switchblade symphony etc, they all had a certain IT factor, wouldn't matter if you just heard them on radio or saw a video you'd instantly go, That's them. That's why I would always pick Diana over Angelina, her deep voice, the yodels, the style she has, her stage presence, you instantly know it her, and as a couple of other reviewers have said she converts well from live stage to the studio. But as individual singers in their own style groups, they both top notch and equally as good.

While Diana has this wow factor for doing odd things with her voice, Angelina use her voice to explain the lyrics. I get it when she sings. the video is not doing her song justis. There is a better one out you. And when Angelina thinks it is suitable with power - she use it! Try This is a mans world!
Could be. However as a Norwegian it is easier to speak English (both Germanic languages) than someone whose mother language is Russian, I think. But that is only 1 element of course.

Diana lost most of upper register on the u are super show when her voice broke she had to sing deeper because it got much deeper .she had to work very hard to regain it and lately shes singing with her higher register lighter and jazzy at times she is still working on it . I'm not sure if u know her past she was abused by her mother starved and beaten when she was found she was malnourished had broken bones and had lost the ability to speak. She was placed in an orphanage but was lucky adopted by a kind and loving woman. Her speech therapy was singing I think shes come a long way.thanks for your time and stay safe.

У неё всё лучше предыдущих. Она даже Высоцкого "Кони Привередливые" исполнила прекрасно. Да, Высоцкий - личность. Поэт, исполнитель... Но Диана заставила слушать каждое слово, вникать в них. Но сравнивать их - это, по меньшей мере, не справедливо. Каждый артист даёт свою жизнь песне, приносит такие краски, которые он видит. И что мы делаем? Берём, кладём всё в одну кастрюлю и нюхаем. I don't think if you like the jazz voice, then who can be compared to Angelina. At her age, no one sings and never sang. So it's a matter of taste. For me personally, they are the most unique young voices.

But this also tells that in terms of genre diversification Diana is way more versatile whereas AJ is the queen of that particular genre. It's like Diana is the Empress that reigns over many genres whereas AJ is the Queen of Jazz, who has her own sovereign.

I don't like these kinds of comparisons, I don't feel it's fare to the artists. To get a real comparison you'd need a song both are comfortable with done in similar settings with no tech involved and the only outcome would be hurt feelings. That said, Diana is on a whole different level in vocal control, phrasing, range, technique, power and communicating the story. She shouldn't be compared to singers in her own age group regardless of the fact they both started as children, Diana is extraordinary.

Я смотрела и слушала "Злую игру" Дианы сотни раз, поэтому я давно "рабыня" у Богини Дианы, Королевы Мурашек, этой юной девушки, она вложила много эмоций,там много мятущегося,много чего, от чего рвется душа. Я испытываю восторг и восхищение от ее талантливых исполнений...Я люблю Диану и готова слушать каждый день! Анжелину Джордан слышала, я не поклонница, но голос ее очень-очень приятный! В плане эмоционально-содержательном: Анжелина это о ровном почти депрессивном состоянии "здесь и сейчас"; Диана же рвется из замкнутого опоясывающего круга и в итоге вырывается на свет ... лунный (но за ним будет и солнце)- у неё есть вера и доверие к тому, кто может спасти... =По большому счёту, если есть вера(!) - будет и спасение

Друзья, я обращаюсь в первую очередь к моим русскоязычным соотечественникам ( увы, не силён в английском) - давайте не будем оказывать Диане "медвежью услугу". Крича то тут, то там "Как же она вандерфульна, а все остальные условно говоря г..но бездарное т.к. не берут таких низких нот и не имеют 3D объёма в голосе" вы только настраиваете фанов других исполнителей против нашей талантливой соотечественницы. Уважайте других и их мнение!

Искусство не в том, чтобы поставить двух исполнителей на весы и взвесить их, чтобы увидеть, кто из них лучше. Есть причина, по которой такие люди, как Дэвид Фостер, Куинси Джонс, Марк Ронсон, Авичи, Алан Уокер и другие любят Анджелину Джордан. Diana presents much less sorrow. Too much vocal flair for the true meaning of the song. There is a fan made video of Angelina which doesn't get in the way. Images of young, cute Angelina are out of place with the message. Happens. Close your eyes next time. They are sharing different messages and, imo, Angelina is closer to that emotional message. (Btw, i wish you would pronounce Diana's name correctly-- it's *dee aana* not like English *dye ana* even if it looks the same, but that's just my preference)

You captured my perspective perfectly. It’s not necessarily about who is better but about who we connect with better through the performance. I agree that for me, Angelina’s performance is focused solely on capturing the meaning and feeling of that deeply emotional song.
I personally found that, for me, Diana’s performance was too dependent on tricks (like suddenly switching to a whisper) that for me detracted from that emotional interpretation. But that could certainly be different from for someone else.
"too much vocal flair" she sings in a vocal competition, what were you expecting? She had to impress the judges and the audience. Also, turning any song into jazz/soul genre would make that effect, it'd amplify the sorrow. That's not completely AJ's doing but it's partially from the genre.

Canadian.. English speaking only. Diana is just better at every aspect of singing(and stage presence), her tone quality, her control, her use of techniques and her understanding of dynamics. I never wanted to say that because I don't want to make enemies of A. Jordan fans, but you made a comment that is just not true.

Angelina doesn't make the song hers she sings it to be a carbon copy of the original. Diana owns it she makes it hers she tells you a story while she sings it making it almost a whole new song

This is a prime example of how a good song can be interpreted in completely different ways and still be brilliant. Angelina is just sitting alone at a piano and playing the simplest of chords. The focus is entirely on her voice. You can feel the anguish in her voice. Diana's professionally produced stage production was operatic, dramatic and ominous in a broad sense, as compared to Angelina's intimate plaint. I love both these performances from two completely different artists

If the majority of Russian-speaking, then they prefer Diana, if English-speaking, then Angelina. It makes me very sad, although I am a Diana fan. For me Angelina and Diana are the most unique performers with the deepest voices regardless of their age. And from their comparison, an unpleasant feeling arises.

I'm from the old school days of old school Gothic, and Alice cooper, switchblade symphony etc, they all had a certain IT factor, wouldn't matter if you just heard them on radio or saw a video you'd instantly go, That's them.
That's why I would always pick Diana over Angelina, her deep voice, the yodels, the style she has, her stage presence, you instantly know it her, and as a couple of other reviewers have said she converts well from live stage to the studio.
But as individual singers in their own style groups, they both top notch and equally as good.

Diana lost most of upper register on the u are super show when her voice broke she had to sing deeper because it got much deeper .she had to work very hard to regain it and lately shes singing with her higher register lighter and jazzy at times she is still working on it . I'm not sure if u know her past she was abused by her mother starved and beaten when she was found she was malnourished had broken bones and had lost the ability to speak. She was placed in an orphanage but was lucky adopted by a kind and loving woman. Her speech therapy was singing I think shes come a long way.thanks for your time and stay safe.
