A space fan's Reader Digest video. Appreciate your hard work condensing all this in one short and sweet video!
Ok why the small print I’m old which means if your not going to narrate it use bigger letters & most of all cease with the music I came hear to find out what is going on not listening to music.
DITTO DITTO DITTO DITTO DITTO
The weekly roundup is what you are looking for then. This is a mid-week gallery featuring my content and is some bonus content to the weekly episodes. Here is the episode from last week. Hope you enjoy, and eventually get to like my gallery as well.. : ua-cam.com/video/iPNqt87SmT4/v-deo.html
as a blind subscriber I wish I could eventually enjoy your gallery if this text on the screen would be kinda nice to read it out
Cheers
Im not a fan of the narrorated content, although i can agree with making it more accessible. Maybe match the text on screen with the youtube subtitles, which can be configured with different colours, font sizes, backgrounds, and position on screen @vernepavreal7296
as a totally blind person text colour would make no difference and the subtitles are not announced by VoiceOver on my iPhone so I never have had those either unfortunately for me it's narration that counts, even synthetic speech!!! cheers@@TheSkytherMod unfortunately text Carla wouldn't help me anyway also as a blind person I don't get the subtitles either so it's kind of all or nothing cheers
It’s hard to realize the sheer size of all that. Great pictures with workers in the frame for scale. Awesome
Sorry, hate having to CC, do a voice over!!!
Love this format.
Really liking this format 👍👍👍👍👍
So much work and you there amazing
I think it might be an HLS test model or even a starship tanker model (for orbital refueling).
A tanker will see 14.7 psi higher pressure in orbit than a ship on earth. I suspect it is for one of the filling stations left in orbit.
Seems like a tanker test. The pressure in the donating tanks will need to be higher than in the receiving tanks. So support for more pressurization.
Extra stringer could be to Suport the small Draco engines for the lander. Hence a single engine burn
Thanks Chief. That was intense. Maybe they are trying to make it survive a water splashdown intact.
I think their modifying the nose cone tester at Masey's for the new configuration of the Starship.
I’m calling HLS pathfinder or propellant depot.
Nice job Chief and Labpadre crew... very interesting...can't believe all the changes in short amount oif time ...!! I also think that it's a test tanker for HLS .. 🌛 ⛽🚀⛽
Tha ancient architecht Imhotep would be proud to see how far some of his early ideas have evolved into the future, maybe?
Stringers to bolster the internal tanks. This ship will perform a tank transfer from the header tank to a main tank in order to demo to NASA that they can successfully transfer propellant in orbit. If we don't see any special connectors or ports on the sides of it then they'll either leave that starship up there or deorbit it for a slow scheduled disassembly (SSD). if it does have external transfer ports then they might leave it up there to practice ship to ship transfer, but I haven't seen any sign of transfer ports, unless they are doing something funky with the QD ports.
Thank you for the update. If they lauch 26...she is not coming home. A theory from a few months ago, I agree with...test refueling station.
Most early ships won't be coming home intact, heatshield or not
I think the stringers are reinforcement for an attempted sub-orbital catch.
Stringers added externally for stiffening when they can't be integrated during the initial fabrication. They're not for load bearing. Used to prevent buckling, torque and reduce vibration.
-> Stringer Stiffened Cylindrical Shells. One source 'An analytical approach is presented to investigate the linear buckling of eccentrically stiffened functionally graded thin toroidal shell segments subjected to axial compression, lateral pressure, and hydrostatic pressure.'
There are other engineered designs like hexagonal and toroidal stringers to do a similar job.
This could simply be a load test to send water into space, or any inert liquid.
On a long shot they could try launching that ship into orbit so to act as a test target for refueling. It would make most sense of using it that way. Though they'd loose up their launches per year the need.
@lapadrespace are you the official channel for SpaceX ?
I believe ship 26 is a tanker test article
I think starship 26 could be meant as an orbital fuel depot, never meant to return from orbit, don't know if that's actually feasible
Could it be that 26 will be outfitted with new thrusters at the top of the ship for the first iteration of the lunar starship to test them for lunar landing or prep work for attaching simulated solar panels to test the structure.
Why doesn't SX Boca not have a public information officer or press officer?
What makes ground venting happen?
@LabPadre can you please tell me the music name?
STARSHIP TELESCOPE
This starship that they’re welding all those stringers onto can’t be destined for re-entry and re-use because they surely can’t apply protective tiles onto the outside of that lot. Is it a prototype for the moon lander or part of a refuelling ship, as Lucrbx (also on this comments section supposes. Does anyone have any real idea what is going on with it. I saw one of the channels (can’t remember which) conjecturing that they might be welding all those stringers on first and then later might cut a slot through the whole lot for dispensing Starlink satellites through, but this seems a strange way of going about it to me.
I skipped through this whole video looking for audio commentary and left when I could not find it.
Mega Door?
Wasup humans on earth!
This channel going down your killing us with the music and small words
I'm with Morgan 79347 - I'm old - use bigger print please ! GO ELON & SPACEX !!! 🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️ 🫡 🇺🇸

Those blast wall drop … lol
Sorry no real confidence…hope for the best

better with commentary even if its AI reading the script
I think Elon's messing with us by having apprentice welders practice their welds on S26 while we theorize about a ship that's become a practice piece.
When your viewing this on a phone it's very unfriendly because of the microscopic text.
I have NO idea what you were trying to show us.
