I think with Ken's bass it helps that he's Bisaya, which is a language that tends to be tonally lower than tagalog. I myself grew up speaking both Bisaya and Tagalog and my voice changes when I speak... Tends to be higher when I speak tagalog, and lower when I switch to Bisaya.
