from April 1, 2023, both listed and unlisted MLDs will be taxed at slab rate as per the Budget 2023 proposal. They are also subject to TDS at 10% on interest income from April 1, 2023. Good video. One aspect that you could have touched on is: Taxation for each of these products. Especially changes in tax for Principal Protected MLDs. Does the same tax apply in case the Principal is not protected?

Akshat, I am a senior citizen. These put options etc. are quite complicated to learn. You simply advise when and what to buy and when to sell
This guy is really a substandard advisor but i am not denying that his content and informations are not good.He has more money and jus because jumping from stock to stock. We are in a bull market and any tom dik and harry who rntered the market after 2020 would have made good money..He is an amateur in the market and never risk ur money following his nonsense advise.
Stock market is not a place to gamble. buying ,holding for few months or few years and selling it no one will make money.

Mr.akshath has sold itc in 200 or 300 levels.Any experienced sensible person will never sell such stocks no matter what.Also he has recommended some india bulls housing finance stocks.
U must hold an extremely good stock for 10 to 15 yrs to create welath.This guy attitude of buying and selling is not good...

This concept of hedging is a great help for people who are early investors. Being brave and flying off a cliff is quite foolish than to fly off it with a parachute! This is what hedging is. You know the thrill of flying off comes with certain amount of risk, then why should we not take precautions while taking calculated risks? That is what hedging is for me : I know investments are risky, but if we tie a parachute for a safe landing, at least we won't break our bones when we come down.

Akshat, I guess MLD presented needs to be reconsidered..when one says 14% return, it's presumed to be annual returns. Which not the case for MLD presented. One should avoid such NBFC who do misrepresentation..

The call option calculation is incorrect.
If your buying 1570 CE then calculation should be 1570 - the stock price at expiration - the premium.
At 44 years old I finally feel ready to settle down long enough to buy a house. Unfortunately due to previous horrible stupid life decisions, I'm forced to start with a zero balance in my savings account. Taxation on MLDs has changed, as per Section 50 AA, now MLDs are taxed as STCG - DEBT and not at 10% LTCG EQUITY so it could not be worth it for higher tax bracket

Doing SIP over the long term will comes under compunding effect. As new investor will start with lesser amount. So over the period of time atleast they follow to invest in discplined manner. Because they are not going to get much profit or loss. As india also in the growth phase we can stay invested for long period will definetly increase our wealth by beating the inflation.
